(Hey I'm back, sorry for the wait, enjoy)
I reunited with Pansy, Blaise, and Draco. We were seated at a sort of stadium. Bleaches surrounded a small stone enclosure, almost like a exhibit you would find at a zoo. I fidgeted with my hands nervously. The rules of the first task were;
Each of the players chose a baby dragon blindly before the task begun. The breed of the baby dragon would determine the fully grown version that would be protecting a golden egg. That golden egg, the players will attempt to steal. Easier said then done. So basically Mattheo would be battling a dragon. I can not believe school allows this.
First to come out of the tent was Cedric. He was wearing a tracksuit, the Hufflepuff colours. I cheered along with the crowed, but didn't really pay attention. He ran into the enclosure waving confidently, the audience screaming uncontrollably, the majority of those screams coming from the girls. I daydreamed throughout the entire match, but at the end I saw Cedric finally run out of the cave, noticeably scratched up and puffed, from thrashing around with A DRAGON. But he still looked so proud, and held up the egg in victory, as his friends crossed him and cheered in celebration. I was pulled back to reality smiled at Cedric. Maybe this wasn't as dangerous as I was imagining. The announcer waited for the audience to calm themselves, before introducing the next player.
"-Mattheo Riddle!"
Mattheo hesitantly entered the exhibit, and sighed. He very clearly did not want to be there. He smiled and waved. Shooting a look my way, before focusing back on the game. He was wearing the same Hogwarts tracksuit, this one green representing slyther in of course. I observed the match carefully this time, my heart already pounding.
Mattheo looked around the cave. Spotting the shiny golden egg, sitting on a stone, on the other side of the enclosure. He quickly began to make his way towards the treasure. Unaware of the terrifying winged beast perched above him. As soon as he began to move, the dragon leaped off the rock it was on and attacked Mattheo. Mattheo quickly ducked, dodging the blow, enraging the dragon even more. It attempted to get the boy once again, being strained by the chains around its neck. Instead, the dragon released a large puff of fire. Mattheo leaped out of the way. The flames missing him by a hair. I let out a breath, I didn't know I was holding. Mattheo looked at the egg, and saw an opening, he sprinted for it. The dragon unexpectedly threw it's tail at Mattheo, catching him by surprise and smashing into his torso, throwing his back into a stone wall. He landed on the floor with a thud. Gaining a few "oooohh"s from the crowd. I put my hand over my mouth. He lay motionless of the floor. 'Get up!' I thought. Still, nothing. Even the dragon turned away. Was he dead? Mattheo quickly jumped up and took the opportunity to snatch the egg. 'Oh thank god'
As fast as he could, he dashed for the exit. The dragon sensing the sudden motion, and roaring at him. Unable to reach him due to the chains. It blew one last breath of fire, but Mattheo was too fast, and he was already out. The crowd went absolutely wild. I stood from my seat and made my way down to the tent. Searching through the groups of people for him. Not being able to see him anywhere, I called out his name. I was drowned out by the other students. Suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder. I spun around, relief flood over me when I saw his face. I immediately threw my arms around him, and smashed my lips into his. Even though we were surrounded by other students, I didn't care. He pulled away and grinned.
"You were really worried, huh?" He teased.
"Shut up." I laughed, and pulled him back in for another kiss. This one lasting a few seconds. Mattheo cupped my cheek in his hand.
The other students started to notice and "ooooooh"d at us. We broke apart remembering that we weren't alone. It was definite now, Rita knew, a bunch of strangers knew, we would have to tell our friends before someone else did.
We met with the others in the slytherin lounge. Pansy and Blaise were sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace, Draco sat in his own chair. Mattheo and I walked in, and they immediately stood up, celebrating with Mattheo, handing around the egg, taking turns at admiring it. Then we sat down together and talked for a while. Mostly about the tournament, turns out all of the players from Hogwarts collected their egg. And a few others from both of the opposing schools. Once the chatter died down, I began.
"Hey, Mattheo and I have been meaning to tell you guys something..." I looked at Mattheo. He smirked slightly.
"-your dating?" Pansy interrupted.
We all looked at her.
"Oh come on we all knew, you guys couldn't of made it more obvious." She chuckled.
"Oh." I shrugged, looking at the other boys, they nodded as well. So they all knew this whole time.
"Well... did you also know that I'm pregnant?" I questioned.
"WHAT?!" Draco said, standing up from his chair angrily along with Blaise and Pans. All of their faces in complete shock, even Mattheo's jaw dropped.
"REALLY?!" Pansy yelled.
"No. I just wanted a reaction." I laughed, very satisfied.
Mattheo let out a half sigh, half laugh. I turned to him.
"Why so relieved?" I joked.
He rolled his eyes and put his arm around me. I planted a kiss on his cheek. I have to admit it was pretty nice to not have to keep a secret from all my friends anymore. The others were each showing a different emotion.
Blaise was laughing at my little prank, Pansy was purely relieved, and Draco was still very clearly furious.
Once the others had calmed down, we made our way back to the school for dinner.
Pansy and I walked together, and the boys walked together. Pansy and I a little further ahead.
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"You already knew." I shrugged.
"But you still didn't tell me."
"To be fair we didn't tell anyone." I replied defensively.
"I'm not anyone." She said, bringing her eyes up from the floor and to my face. "I'm your best friend, you tell me everything. Or at least I thought you did. This is a really big thing, and you didn't tell me." She added, beginning to raise her voice.
"Look I'm sorry. We couldn't tell anyone, you and Blaise had just broken up, it was awkward enough as it was." I said, knowing that this was going to end up in an argument.
"I'm happy for you." She sighed, unexpectedly.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes." She smiled.
There was a silence, while we walked.
"So how did you know already?" I changed the subject.
"You guys are so bad at hiding it!" She laughed.  "I knew what was happening ever since we went potion shopping." She continued.
"Potion shopping? How?!"
"Do you remember when you walked into the back room, and said you though it smelt like..." she told me a story as we walked through the hallway.
