Nothing seemed real. It all seemed to be part of my weird imagination. I would be out there in about 5 minutes.
Taking a moment to look at my reflection in the standing mirror at the corner of the room, I smiled. Somehow apparently the girl in the gorgeous white dress was me. My makeup was softly angelic; light and natural. My hair was a set of soft bouncy curls that had been pinned up, a few strands left to fall loose. A jeweled brooch was pinned to my white bridal veil.
Through the mirror, I saw my mom standing at the door, gazing. She looked ravishing as always. "It's your day honey." She said as she came in and held my hands, her eyes teary. "You look so beautiful I just want to..." and she pulled me into a warm hug. I wanted her to hold me forever. This dream was too overwhelming. But she soon pulled away saying, "C'mon now, it's time."
