Tyson sighed, trying to not let his nerves show as he stared out into the crowd.  Suddenly, he felt a comforting hand on his shoulder.  "Hey, you'll do great." It was Zach.

"Thanks, Dad," Tyson smiled up at his father -- man, it felt weird to be able to call someone that, even months after all of it had happened.

"Yeah! Break a leg, kiddo," Cody smiled at him.  Then, Tyson stepped out onto the stage as the announcer called his name.  "Please welcome... Tyson DeWall!"

The audience applauded, and Tyson shyly smiled and waved at everyone.  He walked over to the talk show host and sat down on the red couch.  "Thank you for having me," Tyson said, admiring the host's dark blue suit and neatly combed brown hair.

"My pleasure," the host replied.  "First question, Mister DeWall... the basics! Favorite color?"

"Really? Okay," Tyson laughed.  "Uhh... maybe yellow? Blue? Red? I guess the three primary colors."

"Great," the host nodded.  "Second question! Do you ever plan on following in your father's footsteps? Maybe another musician?"

"Oh, uh..." Tyson hesitated.  Sure, he had an interest in a few instruments, but he'd never considered actually playing them as a career.  Might as well be honest about it.  "No, I don't think so.  I do really like painting, though," he admitted.  "Maybe I'll become a painter."

"That's neat!" the man fanned himself -- reminding Tyson of Cody in the beginning of "Why Worry"s music video -- and then asked the final question.  "And now, for one the fans have been dying to know... how did you get here? Where did it all start?"

"Oh!" Tyson drew back a little in surprise.  He had expected that, but the suddenness of it caught him off guard.  "Well... I guess I could tell you all.  If you don't mind extending the show a few hours." The audience laughed at his joke.

"Don't worry," the host said, leaning back in his chair.  "We have all night, literally! Go right ahead."

"Well..."

Alright, hopefully this gets better as it goes along! I'm not too good at writing actual stories, but I'll try my best since I love the concept for this on so many different levels.
