Story 12 Mama said that it was Ok

*30th of November 2021*

Jen and David had just finished lunch and it was now 1pm. They were about to film a video for their Instagrams to reveal to the world that they are dating. Jen had had the idea to use the audio "Mama said that it was ok" and film her at the start singing the song and write you can't fall in love with someone and then finally date them after ages of being apart. Then put a picture of Rachel and Ross when it says Mama said that it was Ok and then film her and David kissing when it says Mama said that it was quite alright. David thought it was an amazing idea and they were going to film it later on that afternoon.

They went into the garden and David filmed Jen singing along to the audio at the start. Next Jen found a cute picture of Ross and Rachel kissing from the internet. Then they cuddled up on the grass and picked a few videos and pictures of her and David from her camera roll. They edited the video together and put the text on it.

~They picked a video of them slow dancing together from David's birthday party.
~ One of them kissing that Lisa had taken when her and Court were over for lunch one day.
~ One of them playing with the dogs
~ And one of them cuddled up on the couch that Courteney took at thanksgiving. Jen was asleep on David and he was hugging her tight.

She put the picture of them kissing at the end of the video at the bit when it said Mama said that it was quite alright. That was the video ready to post Jen sent it to David. He already had all the other photos on his phone. They posted it as a post and put the video on the first slide then put the rest of the videos and photos on the slides after that.

David's caption said

They both posted it at the same time at 2:11pm. They turned their phones off and put them down on the grass beside them. They lay down and lay there watching the birds fly around overhead before their phones interrupted them with everybody freaking out in the comments of their posts. They both picked up their phones and read some of the comments, everyone was saying how happy they are for them and how long they had been waiting for this moment. They replied to some of the comments causing people to freak out even more. Then they powered their phones off and chucked them on the grass again going back to cuddling and watching the clouds go by.

Sooner or later they had paparazzi trying to climb over the wall to take pictures of them lying together. Normally they are very calm, kind people but David just got too protective of Jen and went over and told them to fuck off. They got scared and ran away back to their cars and drove off.

David went back to Jen and cuddled up to her again and kissed her hair. They lay there content in each others arms. They ended up falling asleep there on the grass for hours until the dogs came and licked their faces because they wanted to play. They played with the dogs and then had dinner after they had fed them. They went to bed that night thinking how glad they were that the world knew and they could finally be open about their love for each other and how lucky they were to have each other.
