"Kennedy why do I have to do this every time? This isn't even a party this time, its kind of like a um kickback, yes a kickback that's it. We're just gonna drink a little, chill, and earlier Kev said he's even going to try to bring something to smoke, if you know what I mean" she says while giggling.

This is one of my bestfriends Samara Patterson. Samara, Kevin, and I have all been going to the same school since elementary to college, but recently I dropped out. No one tells you how you can barely even survive while in college. I don't know how society expects us to go to school, come home to work on homework for hours, and manage a job so we can have something so simple as have food in the kitchen. Anyway me waking up to Samara's call is nothing new, I expect a call from her at 10:30 a.m. at least 4 days out of the week. Samara and Kevin are the definition of living your best life, and I guess you can say I was like that throughout high school with them. After second semester of freshman year, I met David and I decided to try to settle down. Who would've knew I would actually end up married to him. David had a horrible drinking problem but after I dropped out of college sophomore year, he started to change for the good and a few months later he dropped the question on me. Ever since then I've calmed down on the partying and spent more time focusing on my relationship and our future.

"Samara it's 10:30 in the morning, you're talking fast and you know how I feel about going out. I did enough partying with you freshman year to cover a lifetime. I can't stand people, especially drunk college people. "

" Once again its a kickback and I'll be by around 8:30, so be ready. Love you Ken see you later" says Samara followed by 3 dings letting me know she hung up. I'm definitely wide awake now so I might as well get ready for the day.

"Who was that?" asked David.

"You know there's only one person that calls me like every other day" I say as I finally bring myself to get out of the bed.

"You always claim it's Samara, but at this point I'm finding that very hard to believe" David says as he proceeds to give me a distasteful glare.

"I'm getting in the shower, o and by the way usually the person who believes their partner is hiding something, is actually the one hiding something" I announce as I shut the bathroom door behind me. I am so tired of David! He's always on my butt about something, nothing can keep this man happy, except the beer. He thinks I don't know but he's been acting like how he used to at the beginning of our relationship. Not to mention there's some days his breath reeks of alcohol.

I don't know maybe I will take Samara up on that offer but for now I think I'm just going to try to enjoy this shower and try to enjoy the rest of my day.
