Emily pov
I stood across the hotel parking lot,as I looked over my watch,it's about time Nolan parents arrived...,cami grandparents were so sweet,grandpa eddy and grandma Kate,they were also funny,I'd met them countless of time,they were like my actual grandparents,I loved them so much,for accepting me into their life's...,,
Now it was time to welcome Nolan's elder sister and her husband with her Three years old daughter,I had booked a room for them I'd hoped it was the right thing I did,I figured the little girl was still too small to own a room,and Nora,Nolan's sister may want to be with her daughter,I hoped it was the right thing to do,and that nothing goes wrong...,I also really was quite shivered to meet Nora,she really never liked me..,I hoped that had changed though,a voice sprung me up to action as my heart held against my chest tightly,
"Waiting for someone",I turned to see a very handsome gentleman,I recognized him the second...,
It was Seth..,from high school....,I jumped at the instance as I started laughing so heavily,
"Oh my god...,Seth..",I hugged him tightly as he chuckled in excitement,
"What are you doing here...,you were not in the guests lists....,and...",
"I work here",he confirmed as I breathed in relief,
"How come I didn't know,cami never spoke of you working here..",I said stil stunned as he rolled his eyes over,
I was employed as the event planner assistance,problem is that I don't know the event planner,I was planning to ask cami,but I sighted you and....",he paused as he smiled at me,how funny life could get some times,
"What if I told you that the event planner is looking right at you",I offered as he grew stunned I laughed at him surprised look,
"Nooo way",he said as I chuckled harder,
"I guess fate sets us right where We needed to be",I said dreamily as he smirked,
"I think am going to cry,having to work with the hottest chick....,man!!,I deserve some break",I laughed at his craze joke,
"Shut up silly it's not like you are working with Bridget white or something",I joked as he smiled back,
"So who are you waiting for..",he asked with curiosity in his eyes,
"The guests,welcoming them is part of the whole planning stuff as you know",
"Ohh...,that's fair,and who are the guests",he asked as I roiled my eyes,
"It's Nolan sister....,remember her....,Nora??",I asked as his mood suddenly switched to sad ones,and I knew why,Nora and Seth had this thing since high school,they even dated in college and were about to get married when the whole thing got cut off,no one knew what happened but the wedding was called off...,and sadly two weeks later we heard that Nora got married to an old business man,no one knew why,no one said anything,
"I didn't mean to bring it up",I said after our seconds of silence,
He nodded sadly,as he took a deep intake of breath,
An SUV car pulled up shortly,the car parked properly,as the driver came out to open the car door,Nora came out carrying her daughter on her hands,I was expecting to see her husband,but the driver shut the car door,indicating that her husband didn't follow her which was quite strange,I saw Nora eyes freeze as she came in contact with seth's own,
The atmosphere was so tensed,Nora was so shocked,she tightened her grip on the cute little girl,that had curly brown hair just like Seth,to be precise,the girl looked exactly like Seth,could it be that.....,I turned to look at Seth,and his gaze was on the little girl and on Nora,he frowned as I felt his anger building up...,this was going to be real bad....,
My phone rang thankfully as a distraction from the tensed area,
It was From the reception,I picked it,excusing my self to the edge of the garage,
"Someone is here for you ma'ma,says it's liliana",the receptionist said,I remembered I had booked an appointment with her,Lilliana was the owner of the restaurant we were to use on that day,I called her to give her the lists,cami gave me,
"Tell her I'll be there in three minutes",I said as I hung up the phone,
I walked over to Seth,he was talking to the cute little girl,as they were both avoiding each other eyes,
"Seth..",I called him as he turned to me,
"Can I see you for a sec",I said looking at Nora who looked so pale,and kinda of bruised,it was strange....,but I took my mind off it,
"Sure"he replied as I took him to the edge,
"Something came up...,and I need to go somewhere,can you take Nora to her room...,please be professional and here's the hotel map and her room no,call me if anything goes wrong",I said to him as he nodded slightly,
"Take your time...,I don't need the map,I'd been here for three days,so I'd studied...",he said as I felt my own tension release,I smiled my thanks to him,as I exited shortly,
