Nolan pov
I sipped my hot coffee as my gaze flickered to liliana who was staring at me so intensely,liliana and I used to date a long time ago,we had actually broken up because she said she was in love with someone else,not that I had cared,literally the only reason why I hung out with her was for sex,I was even glad she'd cut our relationship off,but now seated her,she seemed to be a lot interested in me,cause she kept flirting so intensely at me,her hands was trailing up my thighs,the bitch!!,she really didn't get when a man literally wants her no more,I was starting to get bored by her acts,I decided to change the topic,we were talking about me,and I didn't like it one fact,
"What are you doing here anyway,here for the wedding or you are a customer?",I asked as she rolled her eyes,
"I'm here for none of that,my restaurant is in charge of your wedding foods,I came here to talk with the event planner",she said as I felt my blood clench...,does that mean Emily was going to here sooner or later....,I froze again,I didn't want to see her,I couldn't face her after last night,fuck....,why hadn't I just gone after I had said my hello to liliana,I was on my way to meet my sister,cami told me she was arriving today,I needed someone to talk to, I wanted to get Emily off my head for good,and that was when I sited liliana standing at the reception bar,I knew I should have left,but my stupid instinct made me go to her,and she'd offer a little company with her while she waited for whomever to come get her,and I had foolishly walked her down the hotel restaurants,we had ordered coffee and then she had begin touching me,and flirting,I should have left then,but I didn't,know I'm going to come in contact with the very last person I wanted to see....,I interrupted her whistful,
"I have to get going,it was nice chatting with you",I said as I stood up,I turned to leave when a strange force pulled me down,and soon I was on the floor,above something...,I opened my eyes to see my Emily,laying above me....,I thought I'd die,I got up quickly,apologizing to her awakardly,I was about to go when liliana stopped me,with those stupid flirting eyes of hers,
"Don't be a rue,join us",she offered as I was about to decline when out of the blues cami came,how else would this day get any worse,
"Hey honey,I was looking for you,lily said you are with your sister,good thing I found you here",cami said as I faked my smile,her gaze flicked to Emily who greeted her with a hug,
"I thought you were busy with the guests,why are you here now",she asked with confusion full in her eyes,
"Ehm....I was was just with Nora,when a call came saying the liliana was here",Emily explained as cami gaze turned towards liliana,who brought her hands forward,
"Lililana hart,owner of hart palace,and the person in charge of food crew for your wedding",liliana said as cami shook her hands as she smiled,
"It's great you are here,I wanted to fill you in about the new changes we made",Cami said as liliana shook her head in agreement,
"Well it's good you are here now,I too wanted to speak with you personally",liliana said as Emily broke in
"Well why don't we all have a seat then",her voice had sounded so insecure,she was avoiding his gaze like it could kill her...,
"Not you sweet heart",cami said as Emily grew a confused face,
"You see grandma and grandpa are looking for Nolan,why don't you take Nolan over there,I'll handle this one",Cami said as Emily opened her mouth to oppose but cami caught her off guard,
"Please do this for me,they are in my room waiting for me,tell them I couldn't come,they really wanted to see you and Nolan also...",she added as she turned to me kissing me on my lips,
"Please go see grandma and pa,they really want to meet you",she whispered as I nodded my head in agreement,another moment stuck with Emily,the woman I so much didn't want to see,why was fate torturing us like this...,
Cami and Emily went to get a table,leaving me and Emily standing,trying our best to not look at each other,our eyes met eventually as she faked a smile,
"We should get going",she said as I nodded in agreement,we started walking towards the elevator,we said nothing as we approached the elevator,the elevator door opened as I pressed third floor on the button,it started moving thankfully,and within few seconds we were landing on the third floor..,the elevator opened,and we walked out of it,cami room was just by the left,I knocked on it,waiting for someone to answer,but no one did,I knocked again,as the same procedure happened,I opened the door,no one was there....,I called grand pa eddy,but no response,
"They must have left",she concluded as I nodded in approval,
"Just a waste of time,coming up here....",I motioned as she nodded her head,
"I better get going..",she said as she turned to leave,
"Wait!!",I said as she stopped her tracks...,I didn't know what I was doing and I didn't care anymore,I walked towards her as I turned her body to face mine..,
"I need to leave Nolan",she said not looking at me,I grunted in response,I brought her face up to look at mine......,her green stark beautiful eyes...,all of a sudden I didn't care whether this was right or wrong...,I just wanted to feel her...,I leaned forward to kiss her,she backed away from me turning herself off of me,
"We can't do that",she breathed so heavily and shakily,I frowned even harder,I walked towards her as I pushed her to the wall,as she gasped in horror,
"I fucking am tired of fighting this,I don't care give a damn anymore,all I know is that I want you...,and that's final,so if you still think am going to keep doing this...,then you are damn wrong because I'm going to come after you and this time without mercy",I said in a growl as she frowned,trying to get free off my hands on her waist,I tightened my grip on her waist as she pushed against me,but it was useless,especially with the way my hands were on her waist,
"I won't answer you either way,so stop waist if your time",she growled as I chuckled,
"We'll see about that".
