She Can Have Both

Genny's pov________________

Soon after she started bleeding. 

"Lillian your bleeding?" Mary-Louise grabbed a cloth and pressed it against the cut. 

"It's about to get a lot worse" Lily said.

Lily starts groaning as more blood starts to comes out. 

"Is it done?" I asked because the bleeding stopped. 

"I will go check" Valerie walks out with Beau.

I meet up with Stefan and Lilly.

"Damon is tying him up" Stefan said.

"Ok" Lily said before she took off. 

"I am going to go call Hope real quick" I told Stefan and he nods his head and leaves. 

I began to dial for Hope but I got knocked unconscious. 

When I woke up I was tied into a chair with Valerie next to me. 

I groan as I see Julian and Lily arguing. 

"Ah, the daughter you barley know has finally awoke" Julian smirks. 

"Things have grown out of hand, Lily enough is enough" Julian said to her. 

"What are you doing, let them go" Lily said angry. 

"I can't, I love you and the family we built together but you need to pick which one lives and which one dies" Julian said.

'He's making her pick? Oh no' I thought.

'She's going to pick Valerie' I thought as I suddenly became sad at the thought of it.

"I will do no such thing" Lily said.

"You have spent far too long trying to have it all. The lies, the violence, all because you want the impossible" Julian said.

"Truth is, your either a Salvatore or your one of us, but you can't be both" Julian said.

Julian forced gave her a stake "Now choose" He said firmly. 

"This isn't you, you used to be kind, gently, funny. No your still in shock from the hell you've bene trapped in for years" Lily said.

"He was born this way" Valerie said weakly. 

"Ok, this vervain stings like a bitch and your family drama makes the prospect of hell look Disneyland, please let's get this over with" I said as I tried to handle the pain of vervain. 

They both look over at me "You choose your heretics over Stefan, Damon and I every chance you had. Why stop now?" I asked her. 

"Lily, please" Valerie cried out in pain. 

"Come on Lily do it" Julian said to her. 

"Your wrong about so many things. I never had the courage to tell you before.. But now I do" She said.

"You are wrong, Julian... I can choose both of them" Lily then shrikes as she jabbed the stake through herself. 

"NO! LILY!" Julian was by her side in an instant. 

Lily was on the ground as Julian took the stake out of her "My sweet, foolish girl, I've already unlinked us" Julian said.

Damon and Stefan came bursting in. 

Damon saw the stake and vamp speed to Julian and jabbed it though his heart killing him instantly. 

Stefan helped me out and untied me then Valerie.
