'There I was again tonight'

The ballroom was lit quite wonderfully with the chandelier. Expensive gowns, champagne opened and elegant tunes were echoing throughout. Prince and Princesses, Dukes and Dutchess, Queens and Kings. All kinds of well known names of important people were in the very ballroom of the crowned King and Queen of the Solsun Kingdom.

Celebrating the engagement of Lady Kanao and Prince Tanjiro.

Lady Kanao isn't really a princess but with how the Butterfly Estate created their name and status, along with their successful accomplishments in medicines. You could say they are a family easily worthy to stand next to a royal.

Nezuko was really happy for them, she'll have a sweet sister-in-law that she'd never trade anyone for. A brother that loves his everyone he cared for dearly

Really what could you ask for?

Tho as happy as she is for her brother. She hates these types of events...she doesn't quite enjoy the crowd and would rather have fun in the castle with her siblings. But alas Nezuko has to fulfill the role assigned to her since birth.. being a princess

"Hello Nezuko, dear" She heard someone to her side

"Mother!" Upon seeing her, she bowed

"Why are you here in the corner? Are you feeling sick?" She spoke with genuine worry

"I'm alright Mother, I was just about to go and greet some of our guest and plus I can't miss this party" She smiled reassuringly "Its to celebrate brothers engagement after all"

Her mother sighed "Alright then, but if your not feeling well, tell me alright?" Nodding quickly, the princess in pink started to disappear in the crowd

One thing she hates with these grand parties is that..its never genuine. Sure, she loves seeing some of her friends in other kingdoms since they live on the other side of the world, and well this is the only time they get to see each other...but it just feels wrong. An occasion to just rise up ranks and status is most of the people are here for. Not to celebrate her brothers engagement.. This is just... lonely

She was beyond exhausted with the dry conversations, the fake smiles and friendly personalities. What worries her too is how realistic the fake front they show...Maybe she's just overthinking(tho you can never be too careful). She needs fresh air, to clear her thoughts and to calm her disrupted heart.

Looking around she went to the garden outside the ballroom. Going around the large bush and a small broken part of the castle walls,(almost tearing up her dress) she then reached her destination. A place where the cold wind hits her, a place where she could she the night stars clearly along with the illuminating moon. A place with just her and her thoughts

That what she expected it to be. Not until she saw a boy with blonde hair sitting at the grass, a lamp beside him.

"Um, hello" The boy squeaked and then started saying things incoherently loudly, making her confusedly thinking
