"Sebrina!" "Sebrina!"
"Hey Bridget." Sebrina said. Bridget is Sebrinas best friend. 'Thing two' you could say.
"Guess what guess what guess what!?" Bridget screamed.
"What?" Sebrina replied.
"I got invited to Jacob Schneiders party!!" "And he said you're invited too!" Bridget said smiling.
"Awe cool!" Sebrina smiled.
"It's Friday night from eight o'clock until whenever time you wanna stay till." Bridget said with a laugh.
"Friday?" Sebrina asked. "I can't Friday, I-I uh-"
"Hey guys. Did you hear about Jacobs party?" Taylor asked. Taylor's thing 3. They're all 3 best friends.
"Yeah. And once again Sebrinas canceling." Bridget said rolling her eyes and slamming her locker.
"Another one? Really Bri." Taylor answered. Bri is what her friends call Sebrina.
"Guys I'm sorry I'm busy Friday night." Sebrina answered.
"That's okay I just texted Jacob and he said he changed it to Saturday night. So see ya there." Bridget said.
"Oh yay!" Taylor answered with a squeal.
"I'm busy that night too. Sorry guys I hope you understand." Sebrina said hoping they understood.
"I'm over you bailing on our plans." Taylor said closing her locker as hard as she could and walking away.
"Me too. What has been up with you lately? Seriously." Bridget said confidently rolling her eyes and walking away to catch up with Taylor. As Sebrina looks over with blurry vision from trying to hold on her tears, she sees them both looking back at her and rolling there eyes and laughing. Sebrina is lost in her thoughts. She doesn't know what to do. So she decides to just go on with her day. Act like nothing is wrong. Act like her life is perfectly normal. Which she knows isn't the case.
When Sebrina finally gets home from school she makes a peanut butter and banana sandwich, grabs a water bottle from the fridge and sits down with her book bag. She does her algebra, science, and social studies homework while munching on her sandwich. Once she's done with homework she looks at the clock and realizes that she still has 1 and a half hours until her parents get home from work. Her parents are both psychologists. They get paid quite a bit doing this job but they got rich from Sebrinas dads, dad. Sebrina doesn't particularly like her parents. They're stuck up billionaires that come home from work at 6 and leave until early in the morning from the bar. You'd expect that if billionaire parents have only one kid that they'd spoil them to death right? Nope. Sebrina gets all her designer clothes from a thrift shop and has to fix them up by herself. Thing 2 and 3 doesn't know about that though. Sebrina climbs into her bed and clicks up some music and grabs her phone. She is debating whether or not to call thing 2 or 3. She finally decides to just call Taylor.
"Hello?" Taylor answers. "It's her." She whispers to some one as quietly as possible but Sebrina manages to still hear her.
"Hey I'm sorry about the party." Sebrina says trying to stop her voice from shaking.
"Oh sure you are." The person that Taylor was whispering to earlier said. By this time, Sebrina knows that it's Bridget. Sebrina is very sad now that she knows it's Bridget. They all three usually hang out after school.
"Bridget shut up!" Taylor said in a whisper. "It's okay." Taylor replied to Sebrina.
"Oh you and Bridget are hanging out?" Sebrina asked sadly.
"Um yeah.. we were gonna invite you over but we knew you were gonna have to do all your homework so you wouldn't be free." Taylor answered her voice shaking.
"Oh well I'm done know so I'm free!" Sebrina said happily hoping that that'd invite her over. Bzzzzz. Sebrina heard the buzzing sound of when someone hung up the phone. Sebrina started to sob. She had to stay strong at school and not cry so no one knows something was wrong but at her house, alone in her bedroom holds tons of her feelings. Her pillow holds tons of her tears. And her blanket holds all her pain. As she lies her head down on her pillow tears running down her face, she slowly closes her eyes and falls asleep.
"Hello?" Sebrina hears her father yell. She quickly wakes up.
"I'm up stairs!" Sebrina yells back.
"We don't care where the heck you are. We don't care about you." Her mother says.
"I don't care about you guys either." Sebrina whispers quietly. Sebrina starts to cry more.
"We're leaving for the bar. Bye." Her father screams.
"Bye." Sebrina says with tears in her eyes as her cell phone starts to ring. It says "Herbert." Herbert is head of the marching band, all straight A's, captain of the insect club. Oh and he's also, Sebrinas biggest crush, her biggest secret, her biggest everything. Herbert's the reason Sebrina is always bailing on her friends, missing party's, and secretly loves going to english, science, and social studies class; because Herbert is in all those classes.
"Hello?" Sebrina answers wiping her tears.
"Hey," "I was just wondering if we're still on for Friday and Saturday?" Herbert asked.
"Yeah!" "Yeah definitely." Sebrina answers with a frown even though she's actually happy for her date, but she has to miss a party and a chance to hang out with her "best friends."
"Ok good!" So I'll see you at 7 on Friday and 7 Saturday as well right?" Herbert said with a snorting laugh.
"Yeah." Sebrina said with a giggle. Herbert always manages to make Sebrina laugh.
"Ok," Herbert answered. "Bye now, love you." Sebrina hesitates. 2 seconds of silence passes and she finally answers,
"I love you too." She says quickly then hangs up the phone.
