Grandmother

Someone who’s been there your whole life,

Someone who’s always on your side,

Someone who doesn’t believe that there is anything such as too much sugar,

Someone to always love you no matter what,

Someone who everyone has to listen to,

Even your own parents,

Someone to scream in your parents face that there wrong not you,

Someone to be so blunt about the way you look,

That it makes you happy,

Someone who has the best cooking,

The biggest heart,

And the best hugs,

Someone you can share everything with,

Someone you can’t say no to,

Even if you do say no,

It takes less than 10 seconds, for you to beg for forgiveness

Someone to burst into tears when your other siblings are born,

Someone who no matter what they do,

Can always put a smile on your face,

Someone who can love you unconditionally,

Someone you can’t think your life without,

Even though you know the point is going to come,

When you wake up,

You realize they aren’t going to be there your whole life,

They may not always be by your side physically,

There might not be someone who will overfill you with love,

You wake up realizing,

That they aren’t always going to be able to say I love you,

They won’t always be there to listen to you complaining about your parents,

They won’t be able to make you happy over something new,

You won’t have anyone to beg forgiveness from with actually mean it,

You won’t see that glint they get in their eyes when you walk through the doors with your siblings,

You won’t have someone that can put a smile on your face, even if you’re dying,

Even though you know they won’t be here forever,

You still take advantage that they are always there,

So now I’m going to say thank you,

For the laughs,

For the smiles,

For amount of time,

For the love,

For happiness you put in my life,

Thank you grandma,

For everything and more,

And I’m sorry I can’t do more,
