A new journey

16 year old Chantel recently moved from Utah to the state of Delaware with her family in a relatively quiet suburb in Milliville. As overly euphoric mother stated "This what we been missing in this family moving will be a breeze." Chantel's room is located upstairs next to her brothers and parents room while her sisters have the whole basement to themselves. Chantel walks up to her desk opens her diary and starts writing as the world around her changes and she drifts into space. She's at her happy place

                                                 Dear Diary
I feel kinda weird about this whole moving thing i don't know my surroundings i know we have to go to school tomorrow but I'm not ready for this at all. I have to meet new people...make new friends all over again. The house is pretty cool the suburb is very peaceful filled wit lush green trees i can sit under. I am looking forward to all that i love it. Even thou my mother is very optimistic, but i don't wanna make friends i will just stay quiet i gue...

Chantel is disturbed by a ping on her phone. A text message from her friend as she reads it and decides to call her.
"Hi I'm not at my usual place we moved." Chantel calmly states with a monotone voice
" WHAT?! NO ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?"
"It's clear that your mother doesn't want us together Chantel!" Chantel's friend Ally Wilson screams in confusion and anger

"I will call you back!" Chantel hangs up, closes her diary

Her mother storms in the room with suspicion
"I thought i had a voice here...oh it's you sweetheart what are you up to?" As Heaven lays on Chantel's bed
"Nothing much still adjusting to the new place..." Chantel forcefully tries to look undisturbed by her Mother's unannounced presence in her room, Heaven looks around
"Ahhh look you already got your room set up so quickly!...I'm shocked i didn't really expected you to be so quick and...clean?" Baffled by the statement Chantel becomes cynical to why her mother is actually in her room

"Mom why are you here?...Are you here to torment me on how I'm not like you...yes i promise to be a goo-" Chantel is disturbed by blip across her face and she falls on the ground and her mother excessively kicks her and proceeds to drag her across the room and propels her on a mirror causing her to break the mirror as Chantel unceasingly tells her mother to stop, but her requests fall on deaf ears.
"IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH CHANTEL WILSON!...DO YOU HEAR ME?!...GOOD IS NOT ENOUGH!...CLEAN THIS UP RIGHT NOW!...YOU DISGUST ME!" Heaven spits in Chantel's eye as she sees her daughter cry in fear and notices blood on Chantel's arms and legs. Anger erupts once again.
"CLEAN THIS UP CHANTEL!" Heaven proceeds to walk out of the room and shuts the door in anger.Chantel hears Heaven's footsteps receding, her mind becomes riddled with thoughts as she begins questioning her existence asking herself why her mother is this way. While crying she continues cleaning her room and carefully sorting out the broken pieces of her favorite mirror while ignoring her blood dripping from her arms and legs. She looks at her reflection, she sees her dark glossy emerald eyes and wonders whether anyone will love them.
