"Hello?" I hear a woman ask. I guess their family dogs started barking at us.

I saw a woman come out of a room and a smile grew on her face.

"Hi, mommy." My heart bursted when I heard him say that.

He's told me how he's a mommas boy. But I was not expecting this.

They rushed over to each other and hugged. It was the sweetest thing.

You can tell how surprised she was when she saw him. You can also tell how much she loves him.

They stayed hugging like this for awhile, which didn't bother me.

When they pulled away, I could see the tears in her eyes. "I didn't know you were coming today." She smiled at him.

He shrugged as he looked at her. "I wanted to surprise you." I could hear the smile on his face.

I could see her shift to me and her face brightened up. "Is that?" She didn't have to finish the sentence.

Colby smirked towards me and moved his head so I could come towards him.

"Hi, I'm Stella." I introduce myself to her. She left Colby and came straight to me.

"It's so nice to meet you. Colby talks about you all the time." I look over to see his blood red from embarrassment.

He nervously laughed as he shook his head towards me.

"It's nice to meet you too, Mrs. Brock. You have a lovely home." I compliment her.

She seemed like the sweetest lady. Maybe that's where Colby gets it from.

"You can call me Lesa dear." She wrapped me up a in quick hug.

It caught me off guard at first. But I quickly give in. She pulled away and looked at me at my face intensely.

"Colby, you're right. She is beautiful." I could feel the ends of my mouth curve up with my face heat up.

I look over at the brunette. He was shaking his head towards me.

"Thank you, Lesa." I nervously laugh. I'm guessing Colby noticed I was starting to get nervous so he grabbed my hand.

"We're going to put our things in my room and rest for a minute." He tells his mom.

She nodded her head like she understood. "Yes, I bet. You've had a long flight." She spoke as we walked up the stairs.

Once she was out of earshot, he turned to me. "I'm so sorry about her." He laughed.

We walk into a room and it was neatly decorated. I remember him telling me how his parents moved out of his childhood home.

But they made sure to have a couple guest rooms. "Don't be. I can see why you're a momma's boy." I tease him a little bit.

He rolled his eyes as he flopped on his bed. It's a perfect size for us two.

I got on the bed and curl up next to Colby. I could feel him position himself and wrap his arm around me.

I was honestly exhausted. "I told you that you had nothing to worry about, baby." He cooed in my ear.

I couldn't help but smile. Hearing him talk in my ear sent shivers down my spine.

"Yeah, but there's still your dad. Plus your brother." I tell him.

He securely wrapped his arm around me. We ended up taking a nap on the bed.
