"Hi welcome! How are you?"
"Hi welcome! How are you?"
"Hi welcome! How are you?"

It was extremely boring asking the same question to every single person... how many people are going to show up?!?!

One of my friends arrive,
"Ty! Good to see you! Glad you could come!"
"Thanks man... great party by the way"
"Thanks, I think my mum is pissed with me"
"Why's that?" Ty asks with a smirk.
"She said only invite a few people but I think I've got around 50 that have showed up"
"Haha unlucky. Anyway your the one that's in trouble so why do I care"
"Fair enough, you want a drink?" I ask as we make our way to the kitchen.

Thirty minutes pass and eventually the rest of my mates show up.I can hear people starting to get thirsty and hungry so I brought out the alcohol.

"Drinks anyone?!" I had to roar over the music.
Everyone cheered, lifting their glasses in triumph.
Within twenty minutes half of the whiskey was gone, all the beer was gulped down their greedy throats and we are very low on vodka.

The party was great. Bright disco lights got in everyone eyes but no one seemed to care. I hired a DJ that played all the best music, spent tones of money on a buffet and best of all... I got a smoke machine!

I heard someone call my name,
"Josh?"
"Josh?"
"Yeah?" I answer looking around.

"Oh, there you are Mia"
"I've been looking everywhere for you but there was too many people in the way"
"No worries we're both here now aren't we?"
"Guess so... anyway, I saw Sam show up and then leave and then he came back again"
"He probably forgot something"
"Yeah probably"
"You want a drink?"
"Already got one!" She showed me her drink.
We both laughed then made our way to find other people.

Sam, Vinnie and Ty were getting food as we walked past them. They seemed to be having fun.
Mia and I found ourselves at the dance floor watching a dance battle.

It was really cringe but people seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were out of alcohol and people were starting to either get aggressive or super nice... that's what alcohol does to you.
