Quite Possibly Qualifies As Horror

1. I opened my eyes and had no idea where I was.

2. He was heading back to the place he never thought he'd have to see again. Home.

3. I didn't mean to kill her/him.

4. Every time the clock struck midnight, the house would go dark for 10 minutes.

5. I didn't believe in ghosts until I tried to touch my bestfriend.

6. I always thought my cat had a staring problem. She always seemed to stare at my face. That is, until one day, when I realized she was always looking at something not too far behind me.

7. "It's safe to come out now, honey," my aunt said soothingly, her bright green eyes shining as she stared at me kindly. She's been saying that for hours, but that didn't change the fact that my aunt's eyes are amber.

8. A girl went missing at the young age of 8. Ten years later, her parents get a call from the girl's older self. They listen in fear because they had killed her that rainy night all those years ago.

9. A scream echoes outside. One by one, the houses on our street go dark. My house is next.

10. "Please, mommy, let us in! It's cold out here," they screamed from outside the house. Meanwhile, on the inside, a terrified woman desperately tried to call the police, unable to understand why those men were wearing the faces of her dead children as masks.

11. I've always loved diving into the deepest parts of the ocean. The parts where you couldn't see the bottom. Only this time, I couldn't see the surface either.

12. Nora heard her mom call her name from downstairs, so she stopped reading and started to head down. As she reached the stairs, her mom pulled Nora into her bedroom and whispered, "I heard that, too."

13. After working all day, I came home to my girlfriend cradling our child. I didn't know which was more frightening, seeing my dead girlfriend and stillborn baby, or the fact that they were somehow alive now.

14. She received a letter that contained only two words: She's alive.

15. You're in the woods with a friend. He runs off, so you start looking for him. You shout, "Marco!" as a joke and hear at least twenty voices around you respond, "Polo."

16. After waking up in a daze, I find no reflection in the bathroom mirror.

17. My four-year-old said he wished people didn't have to knock. I told him about doorbells, and he asked me to install one on his window.

18. I woke up to hear knocking on glass. At first, I thought it was the window until I heard it come from the mirror again.

19. I begin tucking him into bed and he tells me,"Daddy, check for monsters under my bed." I look underneath for his amusement and see him, another him, staring back at me, quivering and whispering, "Daddy, there's someone on my bed."

20. A buddy of mine wanted to treat me to what he insisted was the best buffet-style restaurant in town. I was rather confused when he pulled his car into the parking lot of the city morgue.
