Author's note: HALO I'm back! I know it's been long since I've updated, but I'm back! Get used to this because I probably would update way less than this next year. (This is very ooc (out of character) if you feel uncomfortable then get out of my story)
Yam's pov
1. "This is the 99th time, I'm loving you."
2. The summer wind blew the waves of the ocean, night was coming. The beach was filled with people. "Tsukishima, are you here too?"
3. Hi! I'm Yamaguchi, a 16 year old high schooler in Karasuno. If I was honest, this school was nowhere near my house, the only reason I came was because of Tsukki. Who is Tsukki, you might ask. He's like a brother to me, it's been 8 years since we've met. (Completely out of character)
When I stepped into the school, I saw a poster with his face on the bulletin board. He's a student leader too. In the picture, he looked at the camera seriously, his lips was almost as straight as a line. However, this wasn't as surprising as it should be. As far as I remember, he never smiled at me.
Tsukki and I have almost never talked. Even at school, he would ignore me. The first time I've talked to him was when my father went to America for work. My father asked me to live at Tsukki's house, we went to school together.
When I heard this, I was very excited. Once the bell rang, I went to his class. Since he was a senior, his class ends later. I stood outside of his classroom until my feet were numb. I saw Tsukki walking out of the class with a girl. Smiling.
Although I don't want to see him laughing with girls, but from the bottom of my heart, I thought to myself, Tsukki looks so good when he smiles.
That was when I realised. It's not that he doesn't like to smile. He just doesn't smile to me.
4. We walked home, Tsukki ignored me again. I walked in front of him, thinking of stupid things. What was he listening in his earphones? What type of girls does he like? What was his relationship with that girl just now?
That last question was rooted to my brain. I walked slower and slower, and Tsukki walked in front of me now. I looked up, the sunlight was shining on him, it made him look even better. I ran up to him, and asked, "Hey, what's with you and that girl? Are you like, a couple?"
This time, Tsukki didn't ignore me. He took off his earphones impatiently and looked at me coldly. "Mind your own business. Go home and bother your mom or something."
I stopped in my tracks.
I have no mom. She left this world a few months after I was born. Although I don't remember how she looked like, my dad told me she was the most beautiful woman he ever met, and I believe that she would be with me forever.
Tsukki did not stop to wait for me. He just turned and walked off.
I would still wait for him outside of his classroom, and he didn't shoo me away, but he didn't speak to me. Not even one word. We were like strangers.
When the first semester was about to end, I suddenly had the courage and sent him a message. "I like you, Tsukki can you be my boyfriend?" He didn't reply. So, I sent him another one. The weird thing was, he didn't block me. For the ninety nine days after that, I sent it again.
On the hundredth day, I thought about it. For a long, long time. I didn't text him the same thing I did the last ninety nine days. Instead, I texted him. "It's the ninety ninth time, this is my ninety ninth time confessing. This is the last time, I hope you can either agree, or reject me."
5. The wind was starting to be humid. That year, Tsukki was joining the college entry examination, my father came back from America as well. I would still walk home with him though.
