I groggily roll out of the bed at the sound of my alarm. My body is hurting, I must've slept for like twelwe hours...

I walk into the bathroom to splash my face. After I'm done I brush my teeth and I'm left staring into the mirror at nothing. Even though that is very enjoyable, I manage to put my hair in a ponytail and go change into some other clothes.

My gym bag is still packed from yesterday, so I grab it as well as my backpack. Then I'm out. My thoughts are roaming around everywhere, making the walk not so boring.

When I get to school I walk straight into calc and sit down in the very back of the classroom. School is done before I can get ahold of myself, which is what usually happens.

Instead of going to the library I walk straight to the gym. I change quickly and walk in to start doing some streching and some practise.

"Sammy?" I turn around to see a quite surprised Harry. "You came"

"Yeah" I shrug, not knowing what I'm supposed to say.

"I got something for you, actually" Harry says. He digs around in his bag before holding a box in front of him. Out of curiosity I walk towards him to examine the box.

"Uhm, what's this?" I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Open" He says, rolling his eyes.

I open it, and inside there's a phone. One of those touch phones that I never could even dream of. "Why are you showing me this?"

"I want you to have it. As you don't have a phone" He says, before adding. "So that I can get ahold of you, you know. I put my number in there already"

"I don't want it" I mumble, and hand it back to him.

"What?"

"I can't take it. It's a nice offer, but it's too expensive and I'll never be able to pay you back"

"It's just a gift, and I never intended for a payback. I knew you would say that, that's why I took my old one. It's in a perfect condition" He says and I can't help but smile.

«I'm not a charity, I dont need your stuff» i say.

«I'm just being nice. It was just laying at home and I figured it would be better to give it to someone that finds it useful» He sighs.

«Are you sure?» I ask just to be sure. This is insane and I don't even know him.

«Yes, I have no use for it and you clearly need it» He shrugs and shows me a similar one that he pulled from his pocket.

"Thank you then, I guess" I say, and pick it up.

"It's the least I could do. Here, I'll teach you" We sit down on one of the benches, him showing me how to use the phone. After he's done we start practise. All of this made me think maybe he isn't so bad after all.

(...)

"How did I do?" I breath out when we're done.

"Ok" He shrugs.

Back to that. "Fine" I say and walk into the changing room. I pull off my clothes and shower, but I should've know better as Harry walked in. I quickly grab the shower curtain to cover myself. The minute he sees me he starts laughing.

"Have you ever heard of knocking?" I shriek at him.

He just laughs loudly. "You forgot this" He puts the, now my, phone on top of my bag. Then he stands looking at me.

"Would you mind?" I say, gesturing to the door.

"Oh, right" And then he walks out. What the hell was that.

I finish up showering, and change into my former clothes. I pack up my bag and walk out.

"Bye, Rick" I wave as I pass him.

"Bye, Sam» He smiles. Probably happy that I'm done being mad at him.

When I am about five minutes from my building, it starts raining. I groan and start jogging, making my legs ache more than they did after today's workout. Nice.

By the time I'm back inside, I'm soaked - which means I'm probably going to be sick.

My mother is in the kitchen with some papers. I carefully step inside to grab a glass of water. I turn the shrieking tap and about half the glass gets filled. I roll my eyes and place it by my mum as I remember I still have my bottle from working out.

«I'm sorry about yesterday you know» My mum mumbles, to my surprise.

«I know» I say. I've stopped caring and I don't feel like talking to her either.

My room is cold and I'm still freezing although I'm sleeping with all my clothes on. I drift off to sleep with a quite different feeling than usual, today was actually a pretty good day.
