His Secrets - 1st Chapter

Ever since Ciel came back to his mansion, he had changed a lot. He no longer smiles, he spends his time inside all the time, either working or having meetings with people who he works with. Elizabeth knows and understands that as the Head of the Phantomhive Family and the Queen's Watchdog her fiance has a lot of work to do, but what she could not understand is why her own fiance seems to be avoiding her.

Obviously since Ciel went missing for a couple of months with no trace despite her family's efforts in finding him, she was curious to what and where he was that no one seemed to be able to find him, not only that, but how he became so skinny despite having a butler. A butler that Elizabeth is curious about, she likes Sebastian, sure he is a bit mysterious and has this weird aura whenever she sees him, but he takes good care of Ciel and provides him with his needs, so Elizabeth doesn't question his ability as a butler. But what she questions is where did Ciel even find Sebastian and why did Sebastian even want to work for him. The lady has been thinking of these things for the past few months, she decided to wait until Ciel is ready to talk about it, as she thinks that Ciel, as her fiance will tell her about it, but so far, all he does is ignore her and use the excuse of working to get away from her.

Elizabeth is fed up with how Ciel is treating her so she decided to stay in his mansion until he tells her what she wants to hear.

"Ciel!!" Lizzy shouted while running up to the office room where she sees Ciel sitting down, finishing some paperwork.

Ciel looked up from the pile of papers that was sitting in front of him and greeted the lady.

"Ciel, why do you always spend your time inside? You have a beautiful garden outside, let's take a small walk there and have a small picnic with the others."

"Sorry Lizzy, but I can't. The Funtom Company is desperately needing some new toys to be put out and I have yet to complete the report for this new toy. After I'm done, we can go and play together."

"You keep on saying that since yesterday and you're not done yet. When are you going to be done with your work?!"

"Judging from the pile of papers in front of me, you'll have to wait for another week until I'm done. I'm sorry but I really need to finish the report, I have to give this to one of the workers tomorrow." Just like that, Ciel went back to finish the pile of papers.

Elizabeth was getting annoyed and mad that somehow Ciel managed to turn down her offer with the picnic in the garden. The both of them would always run around the garden and have picnics with Ciel's parents, and they would have some delicious apple pie that the both would fight the last slice for. Lizzy would have to think bigger to get Ciel to start playing with her again.

---------- Later ----------

"Yes, I'm finally done!" Lizzy said after finishing making a pillow fort. She looked at the messy bed that Ciel always sleeps in, she worked as hard as possible to messy it up and now his bed is filled with dust that he surely can't sleep in it, not to mention the cat fur that she put there just in case Ciel still wants to sleep there.

Now that there are cat furs on the bed, Ciel will surely be unable to sleep due to his allergy. All she has to do is wait for Ciel to finish with his work and arrive in his room, then they will spend the night together in the pillow fort.

Another thing that Elizabeth is curious is to why Ciel doesn't allow anyone to enter his room except for Sebastian. At first, she thought that Ciel probably had something to hide that he doesn't want anyone else to know, but after searching the whole room for a couple of times. All Lizzy found was some historical books that Ciel probably likes to read before bedtime.

To satisfy her curiosity, she decided to hide under the bed tonight and see to why Ciel doesn't want anyone to come into his room. She thought that it would be okay since she is his fiance after all, and they would often take baths together when they were just little kids. After all, she is curious and has the right to know what Ciel is hiding since she is his fiance and also childhood friend.

---------- That Night ----------

"Bochan, it's time for bed."

"What time is it?"

"It's almost 12 pm, My Lord."

"It's that late already?! I guess I should head to bed then." said Ciel, getting up from the chair and walking to his room with Sebastian following behind him.

The both of them entered the already cleaned room, it was as clean as before Lizzy messed it up. It seems like Sebastian had a few minutes of free time and cleaned the room when Elizabeth wasn't in it. 

Ciel waited for Sebastian to get his sleep clothes and to change him.

With no one knowing that Lizzy was under the bed, she looked up from the little gap that she could see, the first thing she saw was Ciel's skinny legs, skinny to the point that he was almost just bones. Despite eating a lot of foods and snacks everyday, Ciel just seems like he has never eaten before. She saw nothing unexpected of his feet, so she decided to crawl up nearer to Ciel, but still under the bed, out of view from the both of them.

Upon Sebastian opening Ciel's outfit, she saw a red mark, she couldn't see it so well since it was far and small but she could see it well enough to see two snakes at the red mark. She never remembered a time when Ciel could have gotten it when he was with her, so she thought he must have gotten it sometime around the few months he went missing.

Just a few minutes after Sebastian went out, Lizzy crawled out from under the bed to see that Ciel was already fast asleep. She quietly tiptoed out of his room and ran to her room just in case someone was still awake .

She went inside the guest room provided for her, it was a guest room but her bed would fit three people and beside it there was a lamp and also one table at each side of the bed, with the closed curtains in a light gold color, with the supposed view of the beautiful garden that she wanted to spend more time with Ciel in.

She flopped on her tummy in the bed as she closed her eyes and remembered what she saw in Ciel's room; A red mark of two snakes, she never had seen that mark before and was curious about what it is and how Ciel got that mark and why he has never told her anything about it.

Usually Lizzy would wait until Ciel told her about it, but she is done with waiting. She has waited for months for Ciel to tell her at least something, but the young man has never even spoken to her unless he needed to or unless she spoke to him. She just needed to tell Sebastian to empty Ciel's day plans tomorrow so that the both of them can spend more time together.

Ciel will not make her wait any longer, Elizabeth already has enough of his excuses.

Hi there, it's me. This is just gonna be a short mini story between Lizzy and Ciel, it's not a ship story, because honestly I don't really ship anyone in the anime and also the manga. But I have been wondering how Lizzy would react upon knowing the truth behind the "Noble Beast" mark and maybe I will also add where Lizzy knows about the contract mark too, but I'm not too sure about that.
