Octavia liked seeing her older brother happy. He hadn't been happy for a long time, and seeing him actually talking and joking around with people made her want to cry sometimes. She would never tell Bellamy this of course, but she was fine watching him from the distance as he opened up to people.
She liked seeing him with Clarke the most. Bellamy was happy to talk to others as well, but when he talked with Clarke, he looked like he did when he was younger. Like back when they were kids. And Octavia really wanted him to get in touch with that side of him more often - that innocent little kid who only worried about having fun and being kind.
