So whadda we do with her now, boss?
Eh, just throw her in a cell. We'll deal with her afterwards.
And her boyfriend?
Isn't it obvious?
Continue the plan.
Eve's vision began to straighten as she regained consciousness, a soft groan escaping her. Her hand felt her surroundings. Cold, hard concrete. Looking up, she saw metal bars. She moved onto her side and rose herself up with her arm. She felt her head, but then noticed something. Her helmet was cracked, a large piece broken off, showing 1 of her eyes! She gasped softly. Her enemies, they...
"Ridley!" She whispered, forcing herself to stand. She managed to rip her helmet off, throwing it onto the floor, where it dissipated instantly. Her short black hair was shown, unkept from her helmet. She ran and grabbed the bars, looking around for any signs of her Commander. She muttered a swear under her breath, when she noticed how the bars felt in her grasp. They were worn and rusty, which gave her an idea. With a swift tug, the bars were unlatched from where they stood! She threw them to the side as she ran off!
"Ay, give 'em another round of shocks boss!" A grunt laughed. Their leader had a twisted smile under his helmet as he tortured the poor space dragon, who groaned in pain, the other grunts cheering. The leader grabbed Ridley's chin roughly as he chuckled, "Man, you are so weak! No wonder Samus loves killing you." Ridley growled in response. The leader leaned in closer.
"Too bad your girlfriend isn't here, huh? Oh, if she saw how weak, you really are..."
Ridley's eyes softened. He wanted to demand where she was! To tear into their armor, tasting their filthy blood until they gave in!
Why did he still care about her...?
The leader rose up onto his feet and snapped his fingers. "Alright. Let's test this bad boy out!" 2 larger grunts grabbed each arm, dragging Ridley. Next thing he knew, he was thrown onto dirt, hearing a door shut loudly behind him. He rose his head up, his vision still a bit blurry. He appeared to be in a makeshift arena. He could hear loud, heavy footsteps from the other side. His eyes then widened at what he saw.
Eve dashed through the metal halls, searching nearly every room for him! "How is it so hard to find a space dragon?!" She thought. She slowly came to a stop as she looked around. Wherever they brought them to, it seemed like a maze of iron makeshift walls! She tried to calm herself down! To think more clearly-
SKREEEEEEE!!!
She turned towards the sound.
"Ridley!"
Ridley was tossed onto the wall, leaving a heavy dent and speckles of his garnet colored blood. He slumped to the floor, too weak from his previous torture to move, his breathing raspy. Yet a large clawed hand grabbed his throat tightly as it raised him to its height. Ridley gasped for air, clawing weakly at its hand. His surroundings began to turn fuzzy, his breath about to leave him when-
ROAR-!
He was dropped to the ground, gasping and coughing weakly. The leader took quick notice. "What the hel-"
"HEY!" A voice called out. Looking up, he saw none other than Eve, her arm cannon aimed towards him and his crew. Her eyes narrowed.
"Why don't you pick on somebody your own size."
She aimed her arm cannon higher and shot the lights above them, causing an instant power outage. "Ugh! Get them!" He ordered. "B-but we can't see!" "I don't like the dark!"
Eve jumped down to where Ridley still laid, raising his head up towards her slightly. "Ridley?" She whispered. His eyes barely opened to her gentle touch, Eve smiling in relief. "...E-Eve-" "Shhh... You're okay now. I'm getting us out of here." She said, caressing his head. She helped him to his feet, with Ridley's vision now beginning to straighten. Eve heard a path opening that was caused by the chaos above them.
"C'mon!"
