"That makes no sense," you whisper with a suffocated voice, and Law shivers, holding your waist to support you.

"I want to talk, [Y/N]," says your father. You tremble and hold Law's hand while walking closer. Dragon's dark eyes flash on him. "In private."

"I trust him," you answer. "He stays as long as he wants."

"How much do you know about this man?" asks Sabo silently, but you don't react.

Law's strained body relaxes when you draw a circle on his skin with your thumb.

"You know my Devil Fruit," you answer and sit down. The Surgeon of Death scowls but you tighten the grip, looking into the golden eyes. "I trust only those who deserve it."

Don't leave me here now.

He sits beside you without a word. You feel terrible when you see a wave of pain running over Sabo's features, seeing the two of you like this. But in the end, he takes place too, taking a deep breath.

"You lost your sword in the war, right?" he asks, the wind moves his blond locks of hair. You slowly nod.

"I'll get it back. We are connected."

"You can't," states Dragon. "They know you want it. After Portgas disappered in the war, executing you means a lot more to them. They believe you are his sister, and I don't think we can do anything to prove them it's not true."

Your heart clenches when you remember Lucci's surprised expression after you told him about your father.

They think I'm Roger's child.

Law looks at you for a second, probably with the same idea, but neither of you speaks it out.

"You gave me that sword and I will get it back," you repeat, crossing your arms.

It has so much of me.

"She's still as stubborn as when she was a child," grumbles Dragon.

"Not like you know how I was as a child," you answer harshly.

"[Y/N], tone it down," says Sabo silently.

"You just stay quiet, you've brought him here!" you shout. "I wanted to be free, at least for a little time."

"[Y/N]-"

"Wreny."

You stop as the calm voice sounds by your side. Law looks at you and you feel like the yellow eyes pierce through your lungs.

"You should listen to them," he says. You look up at the stars and calm yourself down.

He's right.

"How could this happen?"

"Roger trusted my father like a dear friend," starts Dragon, his face emotionless. "He entrusted his son to him, and gave Garp his sword. Before his death, they sent his daughter to Wano for protection. The katana was meant to be hers, and dad asked me to deliver it through my connections. Even if the country was closed, I had a chance. We lost it after Kaido took over, and the child disappeared. We suspect the child died around the Kozukis' fall."

"If the Government even had a hint of her existence, it only makes your situation worse," says Sabo silently. "You should come home with us, so you can be safe."

You don't know what to answer, feeling like Law's caring hold is the only thing that keeps you in reality.

"Everything changed after the war, now that the whole world knows that there are living descendants of Gol. D Roger. You need to disappear for a while, until the Great War comes."
