The phone rang. "Hello," I said, "Hello." No one was there. I hung up. All the lights went out. I was so stressed out that my little brother (Noel) (age:16) has been missing since December 1,2018. Now it is November 22,2020 Noel has been missing for almost two years. My mom (Brigette) and I (Scott short for Scarlett) have been answering the phone every time it rings, we would usually get a prank call most of the time. We would get calls from Noel's and I dad or the police saying there has not been an update on Noel.

On December 1,2020 I thought I heard Noel's voice on the news on the tv my mom was watching in the living room. So, I ran into the living room and there on the couch with mom and dad, I saw a police officer and a young man that looked about the age of 18. Today was the two year of Noel's dissappersince so he would be 18 now. Everyone looked at me when I asked what was up? Mom had said " Oh, Honey, remember Noel. Your older brother?" I ended up saying in front of everyone not meaning to, "Of course I remember he's my brother but the guy looks nothing like him." Everyone wide eyed I had the nerve to say it out loud. Of course I was just a 16 year old kid.

Of course I turned around and left the room and went to my room where I had pictures of my brother and me and all of us as a family before he went missing. Mom walked into my room upset and I asked "Mom, How do you know that's Noel?" "Babygirl, it's a mothers instinct to know who her child is." Mom replied. Then, everyone else walked into my room and the 18 year old guy sat on my bed with me. He opened his mouth and said "Hey, Scotty, how is my baby sister?" Noel was the only one who called me Scotty.
