The Hours Before

I woke up to the smell of the crisp summer air. The sun shinned though the window lighting up my room. I rolled over to see Chandler sleeping on the couch. Looking at my phone it read 8:00, knowing that Chandler still need to get clothes from his house I got up. Walking over to my closet and entering I grabbed a white tank with a blue see through shirt to go over. Some short shorts, and blue flip flops. I walked out of my closet and walked over to my jewelry box that sat on the dresser, pulling out a blue ring. I then grabbed one of my phone cases that read 'Like A Boss' on it. Heading to the bathroom I took a quick shower, drying off and getting dressed then straightening my hair. When I stepped out of the bathroom Chandler was awake and had his shirt off. This time instead of him dropping his mouth my mouth dropped. He turned around to face me and repeated what I had told him yesterday "You best shut you mouth so you don't catch flies" I just laughed. "I ran out of shirts, so I was gonna see if you wanted to go to my house with me so I could also pack my bags" He then said. "Ok, have you seen my dad?" "yeah, he said it was fine." "Ok, are you ready then Chandler?" I asked him. "Yeah let me just get a shirt on, unless you would rather have me not." "haha, Put one on, remember I have a boyfriend" He then mumbled something I didn't make out. Once we had his shirt on we made our way down the stairs. "I'm gonna go find my dad and tell him were gonna go to your house" I turned to Chandler. He nodded making his way outside to wait. Walking downstairs I saw my dad, Norman, and Andy sitting on the couch talking. "Hey dad, Chandler and I are going to his house" I told him. He just gave me a thumbs up not turning around to face me. Running upstairs I almost tripped on the last few steps. As I made it up to the top of the stairs Kendall was stepping off of the last step almost running into me. "Where you going Alexa?" He asked looking up to me. "Chandler and I are going to his house to get his things packed." I told him. He then asked if he could come along. I nodded. "Dad, Kendall is coming with us!" I yelled down the stairs. "K!" He yelled back. I put my hand on Kendall's shoulder and started walking towards the front door to meet Chandler out front.

We were now almost to Chandler's house, most of the trip had been silent except for a few little chats between Chandler and Kendall, and a few short conversations between Chandler and I. When we turned the corner onto a street, Chandler pointed to a house down the street. Kendall asked for a piggy back ride so I knelt down and he hopped on. Finishing the walk to to his house Chandler unlocked the door then yelling that he was here so his parents would know. His house was painted a cream color, and pictures on the wall that made it seem cozy. The floor was this pretty hard wood floor that look as if it was cleaned recently. As we made our way to his room we ran into his parents. "Chandler, who's this?" His mom asked. "this is Alexa, Davids daughter" Chandler told her. His mom smiled and looked to me. "Hi, its nice to meet you Alexa, I'm Gina" She said then looked to Chandler giving him a look that says shes cute. Then someone spoke, they sounded younger than Chandler, I knew it wasn't Kendall because he had been quite and was hiding behind me. "Chandler its about time you got home, want.. Oh you brought a friend" the boy said. Turning around I was met by bright blue eyes like Chandlers, It must of been his brother, Grayson. "Hi I'm Grayson" the boy said. "I'm Alexa" I told him looking down to Kendall, "and this is Kendall my little brother" Kendall peaked his head out from behind me and gave a shy wave. "Anyways mom, I'm going to go back for the trip. I'll let you know when were leaving." Chandler said as we made our way down the hall and to the left to his room.

His room was nice, it was painted a light brown. His bed sheets were red and black matching his style. He had a computer to the side of the room near a window. Posters were posted on the walls not to many maybe half a dozen or more. He walked over to his closet and pulled out a few duffel bags and a bookbag. As he started to gather his things Kendall and I went and sat on his bed watching him. He got t-shirts and shorts some jeans and a set of running clothes, he grabbed some shoes. Stuffing them all into different bags. He then walked over to his desk that had his computer on it and grabbed his laptop sliding it into his bookbag and placing his mouse along with charger in the bag with it. He looked up at me "I'm going to jump in the shower then ill be ready" He said gathering the clothes he planned to wear today. As we waited for him to get out of the shower I heard some awesome music coming from somewhere within the house. Walking out of Chandlers room with Kendall, I searched for where the music, was coming from. We ended up in the basement standing in front of a band. They hadn't noticed us yet, as they were now huddled together talking. As the lead of the band turned around he looked surprised to see us there. "Who are you?" he said worry in his voice. "Alexa and Kendall, Chandlers friends, he's in the shower and we heard you guys playing and we couldn't resist exploring to see where it was coming from." I told them looking around. "Oh, well hello Alexa and Kendall, you must be Davids kids. It's nice to meet you, I'm William, Chandlers father you can call me Will though" He said then walked over and shook my hand. Will then walked back to the band and started playing a new song as we watched. As they were finishing the song Chandler came down shirtless drying his hair. I felt my cheeks heat up a little bit and I knew they were a slight pink. "I was looking for you two" he said facing Kendall and I then turned to his dad "I take it you guys met." He stated more than asked. He dad shook his head. "They were lured down here by the music." He told Chandler smiling. ''Oh, I didn't know you guys were practicing today." He told his dad then turned his attention back to us ''Well I'm just gonna go finish getting dressed, you guys can come if you'd like" I just shook my head in response taking Kendall's hand following him turning back to tell his dad it was nice meeting him.
