Hello lovely people❤,its kinda my first story ,i hope you enjoy❣.
The wind blew heavily shaking off the dry leaves off the trees. A locust hopped it way back home through the thick forest making it way across an opening into a hole in the ground. Near an oak tree stood a majestic pebble built kingdom.
Inside the kingdom,up an opened window sat a graceful figure holding a tubby cat in her hand which she sucked gently." Nine, is there anyway to save her,she is royal blood after all?" She whispered gently to the kitty "Meowww" the little kitty purred placing it hand on the lady's belly which was a huge bump.
"That's right,Nine im counting on you to protect her.She's the only treasure i have now" The lady said to the cat rubbing her tummy with sadness in her eyes. "My Queen,the king and our lady wants to see you in their chambers immdaitely!"
Rosa the lady in waiting announces.
The King and Queen had been married for 10 years and they couldn't bear a child. In frustration he took upon himslef a mistress and she in 3 months was found with a child after. In less than a month the Queen was also found to be pregnant,but with a girl. The king decided to make his mistresses child the heir to his throne since its a boy.
" My lord,you called?" She bowed to the two couple in front of her." Yes my Queen,Lady Agatha wants to make a biffiting request" The King stated "And what might that be,my lady?" She asked politely "Ermmm Queen Ami.........i wanted to Offer to you the favour of gaining the corstordy of your child "" What!"
"Your highness this is uppserd! This is my child we are talking about,I'm sorry i can't do such a thing!" The Queen screamed "Then your highness,if the Queen don't want this favor then I'm afraid the child must step down the throne" lady Agatha ordered to the King in anger. "Very well then I'm afraid i have to......" "No! My king ,i will take my child's place and step down only in one condition" the Queen interrupted. "And what's that ?" Agatha asked pleased
"Only if you allow my child to be next in line to the throne".
Amari's pov,
"Nine,where are you?" I called out looking for my missing cat. "Oh, there you are" I said picking up the cat in my yellow dress and rushed towards Mums room. She has been sick for as long as i can remember but i keep her company all the time. "Look mommy ,Nine have been hiding behind the curtains and i found him". I said to mum holding her hand as i placed Nine beside her.
Her pale face made me pout in sadness. "Mommy please don't die?" I said getting teary. "And....who told you....I'm going to?"she said in breaths "Junior Mother Agatha said you will soon die" I told mum,she then looked disappointed and pulled me in a hug." My buttercup, mummy is going to the angels to rest,and will be watching you from heaven" "Really?" I pouted again, " yes my love,and i need you to stay here and be brave for me. Like a princess worrier,can you?" Mum asked "yes mum, i promise to be brave for you " I said smiling at her and giving her a kiss the forehead.
" Princess Amaris, can you excuse me and your mum?" Lady Agatha interrupted. "Yes Junior Mother" i said "Remember Amaris that mommy loves you" mom said hugging me again. " I love you too Mommy" I said "OK that's enough,run along now!" Agatha said irritated. I rushed to the door way and stared at her but she gave me an awful look which got me running off.
"No! The Queen is dead!" I heard Junior Mother shout.I saw many maids rush to mums room and there was cries everywhere,I held Mine tightly as i was dragged to my room and locked up.I perched by the door and easedropped "Poor thing,to loose a mother at a very young age,this is so sad i mean shes only Five.What do you think that witch will do to the little girl now?" The maids gosssiped " i think she might send her far away".
I think i have only you now Nine,i grapped my cat and cried in silence at the lose of my mum."Meow" Nine licked me to comfort me. Days after, as i was sitting quietly to eat, Prince Eric my older brother came to sit near me in a fuss.That was the first cause he never does cause he hates me like his mum.
"Give me that!" He grapped my fork "Hey, give it back!" I tried taking it bun it landed on his thigh causing him to bleed and cry.
"That's not true daddy he's lying!" I screamed in tears."Your highness she tried to kill your heir ,i suggest you send her away immediately" Agatha demanded and i watched dad agree with her as usual .
In two days time, i was given to Rose my mums in waiting who was sucked years ago to send me to the city. I said my goodbyes to my lady in waiting Wendy who was also my age and promised to come back for her.
