It was a bright sunny day outside as izuku ran around in the playground waiting for his friend katsuki to show up, hours ticked by like seconds
One hour, two hours, three hours, still nothing izuku worried that maybe something happened to him something terrible and then he heard it. A small blast from behind the slide echoed across the playground terrified izuku, went over to check it out hoping his friend was okay. He peered over only to see katsuki surround by a couple other kids showing off his new quirk "woah Bakugo that's so cool!" One boy muttered izuku watched in awe as katsuki made small sparks come from his hand, izuku stepped out to where katsuki can see him "that looks so cool kacchan!!" Izuku blurted out katsuki looked over to him "oh there you are izu, I finally got my quirk isn't it amazing!!" Katsuki said the other kids looked at izuku and then back at katsuki "whos this dork" says one of the boys "yeah 'kacchan' who is he" the other boy says katsuki looks at them and then nervously says "this is my friend izuku!" The boys looked disappointed "wow for such a cool quirk you have such a lame friend" the first boy scoffs "yeah so lame" the second boy follows, izuku looked down in sadness too stunned to say anything katsuki looks at izuku in guilt as he gulps and says "your right he is a lame kid, did y'all know that he also is quirkless" katsuki laughed, izuku now heartbroken from betrayal just looks down as tears ran down his face "woah look he's also a crybaby" one boy yelled out the others looked at him and laughed as the tears flooded out his eyes. "Crybaby crybaby!" Yelled the kids katsuki joined in also "wow izuku I never knew you were such a deku!" Izuku thought to himself "Kacchan called me a 'deku' I thought we were friends..." Izuku wiped his tears and ran off.
