  Max's POV,
                         "Mum have you seen my phone?!" I shouted out to mum who was making breakfast downstairs."I've told you time and time again to put your gadgets in a good place" she shouted back "Whatever Mum!" I rolled my eyes, it took me hours before i found that stupid thing. Before i realized it, i was late for school already.

Picking my bag and rushing downstairs I rushed to Mum to kiss her goodbye "Won't you stay for breakfast honey?" No Mum I can't, I'm already late" I told her as i rushed out of my house,onto my motor bike and off i drove in haste.

School was as usual boring as it looks everyday, to be honest i hated school.As i walked into class, Mr Roy folded his hands in disappointment.I walked out to him, head down even that his shortness was overrated,"Im sorry sir,i promise it wont happen again"I pleaded with a smirk on my lips." Very well,Mr Olive i will let you in on this one time since you've proven to be the best in class after all, but next time,i assure you i wont take it lightly" he advised and i nodded "you may have your sit then" i moved swiftly across the class giving my gang fit bombs as our greeting.As soon as i was settled the class continued it boring lessons on history.

Amari's pov,
                         I can't believe I'm starting another school today.As long as i can remember, Mum and i have been traveling from country to country because of her and now that we are in Texas i pray we stay for good. Because of this I've been changing school year after year and it starting to get on my nerve. Im sorry honey, you know how it is with my job and all that,but i promise this time around we are staying" Mum blurbed as she drove me to my new school "Yhh right!" I folded my arms pissed already and looked away.

It was a long slient drive after that,when we finally got to the school and i got admitted,i waved her goodbye and headed to class. I admitte i was a bit shy at first but i have done this so many times so i have nothing to worry about right?

As i walked into the class, i heard a series of "wows" and whispers from the students. I immediately put on my hoodie over my head and removed the airpods i was wearing, as i know why they were all surprised. "OK class that's enough,lets welcome Miss Dodoo,she's new here....."

"Ermm....don't we all know that, Mr Roy?" A boy with a red tip haircut interrupted rudely making the whole class laugh."Now Mr olive behave yourself, young lady can you introduce yourself?" The teacher urged "My name is Amaris Dodoo, I'v been around the world to say and now i live here in Taxes" I said boldly

"So have you been to Atlanta?" The boy said mockly and every one laughed "well, you might know where that is Clever boy!" I responded rolling my eyes and everyone ohhed him.I then saw how ashamed he was after i told him off. Then asking the teacher for my seat i went to sit unfortunately next to him,and for the rest of the lesson he bowed his head and kept silent.

After it was lunch break and everyone was out expect him and i, he walked to my sit and taped me,"Hello,would you like to have...""No thanks,I'm fine maybe some other time" i told him concerntrating on my phone. "Oh well,OK im Max by the way " he said "OK"i chuckled and before i knew he walked out disappointed.

This is going to be a long day, i said to myself sighing.
