Charlie has this little sister, Lola. She is small and very funny.
Charlie: (humming) Mmm.
Lola: Hi.
Three-Toed Sloth: Hello.
Lola: How are you?
Three Toed Sloth: I'm fine.
Charlie colored in a turquoise circle.
Lola: Hey, I want to color in too.
Charlie: Hey! These are my brand-new crayons.
Lola: Mum, Charlie isn't sharing!
Mum: Charlie, let your sister use 5 or 6 of your crayons.
Charlie: But, Mum, I'm scared she'll break them!
Mum: I'm sure she'll be careful. You need to learn to share.
Charlie: She can use one.
Mum: Four.
Lola: Seven!
Charlie: Three.
Mum: Fine, three. But let her choose whichever three she wants.
Lola decided to use 3 orange crayons.
Lola: One, two, three. What are you going to draw?
Charlie: Without orange, there's no point in drawing. I'm going to finish my puzzle.
Lola decided to tagalong to Charlie with his puzzle.
Lola: I want to help.
Charlie: Lola, this is my puzzle. I thought you wanted to draw.
Lola: Mum, Charlie won't share his puzzle with me!
Mum: Charlie, what have I told you about sharing with your little sister?
Charlie: (sighs) I'm going to read.
Lola decided to read with Charlie as she put the pieces away.
Lola: I want to read too!
Charlie: Can't you get one of your own books?
Lola: Mum! Charlie still isn't sharing!
Mum: You need to have a little break, Charlie. And go to your room to think about sharing.
Charlie: But, Mum, I bet you wouldn't like it if you had to share.
Mum: Charlie!
Charlie went to his room, tired of sharing with Lola.
Imagination sequence...
Mrs. Finch: Hello, Mrs. Sonner, I need to share your car. I'll bring it back later today... or tomorrow. We'll see.
Mum: But that's my car. I need it to do some shopping.
Mrs. Finch: You aren't sharing.
Mum: Huh?
Charlie: Mum, you really need to learn to share your things. You need to go to your room and think about it.
Mum: (sighs)
Imagination sequence ends...
(Mum enters through door)
Mum: So have you thought about sharing with your little sister?
