It was mid-day, the sun was peering into the small room. The shelves were filled with old books that had probably never been touched. Scaramouche was standing around a group of agents, his infamous coworker was present as well.

The red head spoke, "What makes anything about this fair? You get to move on in the mission while I'm stuck here, collecting stupid debts."

The Inazuman man placed his hands on the desk, an angry tone filled his voice, "You did your job, even if it was poorly executed, and I have mine. So instead of whining about it, just do better." He had raised his voice in the attempt to be more intimidating.

Despite his looks, this man was scary, even to Scaramouche. He wouldn't quite say he was more powerful than him but still.

A quick knock on the door interrupted their little conversation.

"Come in." his coworker angrily responded.

A Fatui agent emerged from the hall, "Lord Scaramouche, there's a visitor here to see you. He claims to be a friend of yours."

Scaramouche looked highly confused. Friend?

Childe, Scaramouche's "beloved coworker", began to laugh, "Friend? That's hilarious," he turned and looked straight at the messenger, "Sir, you should quit the Fatui and become a comedian!"

Then it occurred to him. The guy from before. Kazuha, that was it. Scaramouche rolled his eyes, knowing very well who it might've been, "Let him in. And please escort Mr. Childe out of here."

"Wait I want to meet them! Hang on is it that guy from yesterday?? I want to talk to-" Childe was cut off by a book being chucked at him, Scaramouche glaring on the other end.

Eventually the tall man gave up and walked out with the Fatui agent.

Minutes went by and another agent entered, but this time he came with Scaramouche's "mysterious" guest. And as he expected, Kazuha, the guy from before, was standing right in front of him once again.

The Fatui agent, after escorting Kazuha to the office, shut the door quietly, as if he was scared to be yelled at by the intimidating, and quite angry, 6th harbinger.

Scaramouche just stared at him, "Well? What do you want?" His last conversation with Childe left him in a terrible mood, so he seemed extra harsh this time.

Of course, that didn't effect Kazuha much.

Kazuha started to walk around the small room, glancing over the bookshelves, "Is this your office?"

"Eh?" Scaramouche was stunned about how carefree this guy was. Was he not scared of him at all? He scoffed, "It's a temporary workspace. My actual office is way bigger than this, back in Snezhnaya."

Suddenly, Scaramouche realized what he had said. Was he actually indulging Kazuha with his question? Why would he tell him all that?

"Okay what did you really come here for? You want money is that it? If it'll get you to leave me alone then-" Scaramouche started to offer.

He was cut off, "I just wanted to see you again." Kazuha briefly looked into Scaramouche's bright blue eyes until he became infatuated with a silver sword hanging on the wall.

For some strange reason, Scaramouche felt a warmth in his face. Embarrassment perhaps? He felt embarrassed to have been told something like that so abruptly. It was just absurd to him. Did this guy think they were best friends now or something?

To his own surprise, instead of telling Kazuha off, Scaramouche scowled, "Why would you want that?" He was still a bit embarrassed to ask such a silly question, but he did want to know. Nobody would show up at a harbinger's door just because they wanted to see them.
