Shivi Os : Faisla

Premise of the story – Raavi stops the engagement stating that their divorce has been delayed for a period of six months. Disha and her parents are shocked hearing that along with the entire Pandya parivaar.

 

Accha toh yahi tha tera plan, Suman says and everybody looks at her shocked.

Toh ab tu dekh main kya kar tha hoon, Suman says and moves towards the well. Everybody tries to stop her but she does not retort. The next moment she does the unexpected. She throws Raavi’s mangalsutra in the well and Raavi covers her mouth so that she does not scream.

Yeh tune kya kiya maa, Shiva shouts and Suman looks at him.

Tujhe itne takleef kyun ho raha hai?. Bas kuch mahine aur ,uske baad tera koi rishta nahi hoga iss maarkundi gaay se. Maine bas tera kaam asaan kiya aur tu mujhpe chilla rahi hai, apni ma pe, Suman says and Shiva keeps silent. The next moment he looks at Raavi whose eyes are filled with tears and her constant gaze seems to be on the well. He understood that she was hurt so badly. He could see how hard it was for her earlier to give away the mangalsutra to his mother and now it was gone forever. Shiva knew that this was not the time to keep silence and not do anything. He had to do something now .Before anyone could even understand what he was doing, he jumps into the well. Everyone shouted his name loudly but it was too late. Suman was in deep shock and started telling Gaumbi to do something. Krish and Dev went inside the storeroom to fetch the ropes while Disha and her parent were dumb seeing the entire scenario.

For a second, Raavi was blank. She couldn’t understand what was happening. The second she registered that Shiva had jumped into the well, she moved towards the well and called out for him but there was no response. A sudden fear started creeping in his mind. What if he didn’t return?. What if he jumped to end his life?. Her eyes were filled with tears thinking of losing him. No she couldn’t afford to lose him.

Gaumbi, kuch toh karo, she spoke helplessly. But before he could do anything, they saw movement in the well and felt relieved a bit.

Shiva, tu hai waha pe, Gaumbi shouted and the next moment they saw Shiva’s face. By that time, Krish and Dev had brought the ropes so that they could save him. Though Shiva knew a little bit of swimming, the well was pretty deep and he couldn’t stay in there for long. With the help of the rope, Shiva somehow managed to come up and then Gaumbi managed to pull him up to the surface. By the time, he was out of the well, he was fully drenched and he looked tired.

Raavi kept her hands in her heart and sighed in relief seeing him safe and sound. She walked towards him and held his collar tightly and asked , Kyun kiya aisa, tu pagal hai kya?.  Her eyes were still filled with tears and he could see that she was worried. Before he answered, he opened his palms and handed over the mangalsutra to her shocking everybody present there.

Yeh lene gaya tha, he said looking at her and everybody looked shocked.

Ay Shiva, yeh kya harkatein hai. Yaha Disu tera intezaar kar raha tha sagai ke liye aur ek tootne wale rishte ki nishaani lene ke liye tu kood gayi.Ho kya gaya hai tujhe?, Suman asked.

Shiva didn’t say anything. He took the mangalsutra from Raavi and tied it around her neck. She hadn’t expected that and was too shocked to react. Before she could say anything, he held her right hand firmly and indicated her not to talk. There were lot of things that he needed to make clear now.

Yeh kya tamasha kar raha hai tu Shiva?. Iska haath kyun pakda hai tune?.Talak honewala hai teri aur phir iss ladki ko mangalsutra ki kya zaroorat hai?.Tujhe meri kasam hai Shiva, agar tune uski haath nahi chodi na toh main iss kua mein kood jaungi, Suman threatened Shiva.

Bas, ab bohot hogaya , Shiva shouted.

Looking at his mother he said, Maa agar tune phirse shaadi ki baat ki, toh main khud apni jaan le lungi. Aur yeh mazak nahi hai. Yeh Shiva Pandya ki waada hai, Shiva spoke loudly with fire spitting through his eyes.

Shiva, kya keha raha hai tu, Raavi shouted at him but he indicated through his eyes that she could speak later.

 He then continued, Apni bete ki jaan se zyaada agar tujhe apni zidd bada hai, toh teek hai maa. Main bhi ziddi hoon kyunki main tera beta hoon.

Iss markundi gaay ke liye tu apni maa se lad rahi hai Shiva, Suman asked with tears in her eyes.

Raavi. Raavi naam hai uska. Aur main yaha khud ke liye lad raha hoon, he spoke firmly.

Tu abhi bhi iss ladki se rishta nibhana chahta hoon jisne tujhe chota mehsoos karwaya. Jisne tujhe thappad maara aur sabke saamne teri izaat ki dhyan nahi di. Itna kya kiya iss Raavi ne ki tu ise chod nahi sakta? Suman asked.

Tujhe sirf Raavi ki galti kyun dikh raha hai maa?. Maine bhi uspe shaq kiya hai na. Maine sabke saamne itna tamasha banaya tha ki uska izaat ka dhyan nahi di ,uska kya. Talaq ki papers bhi maine bhej di. Toh us hisaab se tujhe zyada gussa mujhse hona chaiye, Raavi se nahi. Aur tune bhi galti ki maa. Tune nahi k  iRaavi ki beizatti?. Har baar use taane marte the aur jab main baar baar keharaha tha ki mujhe koi shaadi nahi karni toh phir bhi ladki leke aagayi. Aakhiri baar keha raha hoon. Yeh sagai aur shaadi nahi hogi. Meri shaadi already ho chuki hai aur agar talaq hua bhi aage kya karna hai yeh mera marzi hai. Apne liye decision lene ka haq maine kisi aur ko diya nahi hai, Shiva said and Raavi kept looking at him. She was finally at peace that he was taking a stand for her, for them.

 Hearing all of this, Disha and her parents left. Shiva was married and even if Disha loved him, she couldn’t form any kind of relationship with a married man. That was wrong.

 Tu bohot galat kar raha hai Shiva, tu pachtaoge, Suman said.

Yeh meri zindagi hai maa. Apni zindagi ka faisla mujhe khud lene do. Aur tune pucha na ki main Raavi ko kyun chod nahi sakta. Kyunki woh bhi ab mera parivaar ka hissa hai, mera priority hai. Aur iss baar mein sure hai ki woh bhi mujhe nahi chodega, he said looking at Raavi.

She held onto his hand more firmly and Shiva understood that she agreed to what she said.

Yeh tune abhi kiya na, phir se math karna Shiva. Jaan nikal gayi thi meri. Dar lag raha tha ki…. She couldn’t complete her sentence and Shiva could read through her unspoken words.

Ay chipkali, tujhe kaise chod sakta. Tu chipkali hai aur chipki hi rahegi. Itna toh tere baare mein janta hoon mein, Shiva said in his normal style and Raavi couldn’t stop smiling at his words.
