Seven: Old Faces

Zoe's POV

It has been two days since Percy was taken. I was currently sitting in my room, sobbing. I want him to come back, I don't know what they are going to do to him. I know they want information, but what are they going to do to get that information? Torture? Poison? Potions? I just don't know and I'm so worried it feels like I can't breathe.

I hear a knock on the door, and, "Zoe, can I come in? I know you're in there," I hear Luke's voice say through the wood. 

"Ya, ya you can come in Luke," I say trying to control myself. He walks in and it looks like he was crying too. I see tear stains and his eyes are puffy. I pat on the bed for him to sit down. I know he is the one trying to cheer me up, but I think he needs it too. Luke is like a brother to me. After I got to know him and his story with Kronos, I respected him, then when I saw how he worked around Percy, I knew I had found a friend.

"You know, I'm supposed to be comforting you right now Zoe, not the other way around," he says while sitting on Percy and I's bedside.

"Ya, I know, but I think we need each other to lean on, not just one person taking the weight," I say, I know when Percy isn't around, Luke tries his best to be a leader, but he needs to know that he really doesn't need to keep the weight of the world on his shoulder. 

"I'm worried Zoe. What are they going to do to him? What if they...I don't know, t-torture him? I can't help but feel scared for him. He's like a brother to me and I can't shake the feeling that Destruction and End are trying to break him," Luke confesses. 

"I know, I feel the same way. He's my boyfriend for God's sake! I just don't know," I spill out, I start crying and Luke holds me close. We stayed like that for a while, in a brother, sister embrace worrying about our best friend.

Luke and I are last to the dining pavilion for dinner. We head to our table to see everyone gloomy and moping over their food. We didn't really talk during dinner, and we left early. When we all got back to the cabin, Chaos and Order flashed in. They looked a bit down too, so I'm assuming they heard the news of Percy's capture. 

"We have a proposition to make. We know our son has been captured by Destruction and End, so we need a rescue plan. We think some of you should take off your hoods to show the campers they can trust you. Luke, Thalia, and Nico, I know this hits you hard, so if you don't we completely understand," Order says. She sounds so worried about Percy, I'm going to talk to her later.

"Well, if Will and Bianca do, I should too because there is no sense in keeping secret then," Nico says.

"I'm not going to, and neither is Thalia, we had a little mind conversation," Luke says. I understand. With the campers grouchy, they might not forgive Luke for what he did. 

"So we have Nico, Bianca, and Will to reveal themselves. How about you Zoe?" Chaos asked. I didn't know when Bianca and Will decided to reveal themselves, maybe they said if Nico will, then they will too.

"I will, they need to trust the commander's girlfriend. Since I'm close to Percy, maybe they will trust us both better," I explain.

"Silena and Beckendorf? Will you reveal yourselves?" Order asks.

They look at each other and respond with a "yes." 

"So at the campfire, Order and I will re-introduce ourselves and give the announcement that six of you will reveal yourself. I don't care what order you go in, but I do want Nico, Bianca, and Will to all go in one after another since you're all very close. Then Silena and Beckendorf to go together, then Zoe can go," Chaos explains.
