ᴘʀᴇᴛᴛʏ

Tadano gripped the ends of his uniform and looked to the side.

' Komi-san is really pretty '

" Komi-san! Good morning! " Tadano said as he entered the classroom.

Komi turned her head towards his direction and gave a small wave. Tadano smiled and went to take his place in his seat.

" How are you today? " He said as he sat down.

Komi wrote something down on her notebook and held it up.

' Good '

Tadano slightly sighed. " I'm glad to hear that, Komi-san. "

He gave her a smile.

Komi stared a good second before getting flustered. She covered the bottom half of her face with the notebook, and looked the other way.

The boy looked at her confused and then froze. He stared at her expression and bashfully blushed.

He turned his body away from her and covered his face with his hands.

' Komi-san is... '

He got to lost in his thoughts to have noticed Komi getting frantic and worried about him.

Tadano took out his lunch box and opened the top. Looking at the delicious food sure reminded him how hungry he was.

He grabbed his chopsticks and drooled at the smell.

Tadano picked up a piece of rice and motioned it towards his mouth.

He felt a presence near him and he slowly turned his head.

" K-Komi-san! " He exclaimed, startled. He had dropped the piece of rice.

" A-Ah! My bad! " He said setting down his chopsticks and  getting up to get a napkin.

Komi stared as him in silence and patiently waited.

" Sorry Komi-san, I got startled, " Tadano gave a nervous laugh.

Komi shook her head and motioned at her lunch box.

" H-Huh? Do you want to eat with me? "

Komi nodded her head, getting a bit flustered out of nervousness.

" Of course, I'd love that! We are friends after all, Komi-san! " Tadano smiled.

Komi stared.

" ...friends... "

She smiled.

The girl took her seat next to the male and opened her box.

Tadano sighed in relief as he threw the napkin away and sat down.

They both ate mostly in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence.
