Chapter 3: Team 7 and 10

The next day Dom awoke and did his usual stuff, but he was a little excited for today since he would be meeting his johnin instructor and new team until he was recommended to the chunin exams. He put on his newly made black turtle-neck t-shirt with the design of a dragon head on his back. His shorts were white, and his ankle sandals were also white, he placed his new headband around his waist and attached it to his black belt. He changed his small pouch on his waist and attached it to his belt while filling it with small seals containing kunai, smoke bombs and shuriken. He opened the door and looked over to see Naruto wearing his black sleeveless top and his white shorts like Dom, his sandals were deep blue, and his headband was tied around his forehead to keep his golden hair in check. Together they body flickered to the academy where students were already gathering together for the big reveal. They all waited in the classroom where Dom and Naruto received both stares from other students and glares from Sasuke until Iruka entered.

(Iruka) "Alright class settled down, first of all I congratulate you all on making genin and now i will announce this year's teams. Team 1... Team 7 will consist of Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha.

Dom narrowed his eyes at this, and Naruto did the same thing while shaking his head in disappointment, he was stuck with Sasuke fangirl number one and the Emo lord himself.

(Iruka) "Team 8 will consist of Hinata Hyuga, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Aburame... Team 10 Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Dominic Dovah. These shall be the teams that you have been paired into, now all that is left is for you to meet your teachers."

Shortly after Iruka left the classroom the students began talking amongst themselves, Dom was thinking of the team he had been put into and about what he had observed from them when he enrolled. Dom knew that Shikamaru was super smart even though he was lazy as hell, and Ino was alright in all aspects, but she was still a little annoying when it came to her constant battle with Sakura the banshee. He could see that Shikamaru was also analyzing them both while Ino was talking with some other girls to her right. But what was most noticeable was the fact that Sasuke was still glaring daggers at both Naruto and Dom. Suddenly two people who Dom recognized came in through the door, they were Asuma and Kurenai and they seemed to be there to pick up their students.

(Kurenai) "Team 8 report to training ground 8 in 30 minutes."

(Asuma) "Team 10 report to training ground 10 in 30 minutes."

Together they walked out the door again and Dom got up from his chair and made his way down to Shikamaru who also stood up and began making his way down towards the door. Before they walked past Dom threw a final look up at Naruto and then down to Sasuke who was looking at him, then he shifted his attention to Ino and made a gesture with his left hand signaling her to come along. Together they all made their way over to training ground 10 in around 20 minutes and when they arrived Asuma was sitting on one of three wooden poles and smoking a cigarette. He noticed them approaching and jumped down signaling for them to sit down to which they complied.

(Asuma) "Great to meet all of you, my name is Asuma Sarutobi and i will be your johnin instructor. The first thing on the program is a short introduction of who you are, what your hobbies are and what your dream is. You to the left, why don't you go first?"

(Shikamaru) "Fine, My name is Shikamaru Nara. I'm a very lazy person who doesn't enjoy people that make a lot of fuss about everything. My hobbies are cloud watching, playing shogi, and thinking about stuff, as for my dream... I guess I want to become a good clan leader and lead my clan into a better future."

(Ino) "My name is Ino Yamanaka, I am a very energetic person who loves to plant flowers, make Sakura mad and... train I guess. My hobbies are looking after my father's flower shop, tending to the flowers, and occasionally training with Sakura. My dream is to become a strong kunoichi just like Lady Tsunade and then find a place to settle down and live with Sasuke."
