Dom's eyes slowly opened and the morning light from the rising sun hit his eyes with its bright solar rays making his squint, he rose up but found that his lower body felt a lot heavier than yesterday.
He looked down and saw a still sleeping Ino with her arms wrapped around his waist and her head resting on his thighs, he blushed before remembering what transpired yesterday and just left her be. Instead, he started brushing her hair with his right arm while giving her a soft look, suddenly he registered movements behind him and turned his head to face the johnin who were busy cleaning up camp while the team 7 genin were still sleeping.
Kakashi noticed Dom and eye smiled at him before walking towards the boys tent to wake them up, Asuma on the other hand was busy getting a sleepy Tasuna back on his feet.
Dom sighed and looked back down at Ino before gently rubbing her chin and shaking her awake, she opened his eyes with confusion plastered onto her face until she noticed Dom's bright smile looking down at her.
She then noticed her hands wrapped around his waist and the drool coming out of her mouth along with remembering that she had cried like a baby in front of him and team 7 too, she blushed and steamed before rushing to her feet.
(Dom smirking) "Good morning sleepy head, I must say you seemed to fit right into my arms yesterday."
(Ino going red like a tomato) "S... Shut your mouth Dom, forget what happened yesterday or I'll invade your mind to erase it!"
(Dom teasing) "How could I ever forget what you said in your sleep..."
(Ino blushing harder) "What did I say!?"
(Dom smirking evilly) "Absolutely nothing, actually you were super quiet just like a sleeping chi-"
Before he could finish his sentence he felt the burning fist connect with his cheek and sent him flying into the lake with a big splash, the others noticed the sound and looked at Ino with a steaming hot face and smoke coming off of his closed fist facing the rings in the water.
Both teams simply shrugged while their sensei's and Tasuna looked with amusement, and after Dom had gotten back to the shore he noticed something worrisome.
He felt something watching them, but it didn't seem to have a hostile feeling to it though it was stalking his every move, as they moved out Dom's feet suddenly fell an extra centimeter into a hole in the ground. When he looked down to identify it he gulped as there was a 4-meter-long track of wolf prints about the size of a horse hove, for now he simply pushed the thought of horse sized wolfs prowling the area out of his head.
The Group got back on the Road after around 20 minutes of clearing the camp sight of any signs of their presence, it would only take the group 40 minutes to reach the first river flowing through the country and from there it was around 3-4 hours until they would reach the docks.
The trip itself wasn't much to do anything about as they all constantly moved in formation to keep Tasuna out of reach for any potential threats coming from the woods.
At one time they had encountered normal bandits that tried assaulting them, but it was an easy task to take them down, they took a quick break at the river where they washed their faces and allowed Tasuna to relax his feet a little.
After that it was a hardcore push for the docks bordering the land of waves which they reached in just over 2 and a half hours' time.
The man who Tasuna had paid to steer them across the water was a tall slim man with a straw hat covering his hair and eyes, he wore a racked old jacket with a gray t-shirt underneath along with a pair of black pants.
Tasuna handed the guy his money and they all got abord while waiting for the man to start moving the boat which took a while, once they were safely on the other side the man waved them goodbye before once again sailing out on the wide water.
Almost immediately after accessing the other side the landscape took all of them in and laid them flat on the ground, it was a vast area with oak forests running across as far as the eye could see with a couple of mountains in the background.
The least noticeable thing was that there were many water puddles surrounding this part of the land and the air was a lot moister than on the other side too.
The group made their way onto the new road with Tasuna leading the way and both johnin right by his side in case anything happened to come by.
