I'll never forget the day I first met you.

That cold December day when I sat there, sipping tea, in my favorite cafe. Everything was perfectly normal and calm, just how I liked it, until you burst through the door.

You came in, frantically looking around in search of someone. I remember when you first saw me, your eyes lit up as they met mine, and you immediately ran over to my table with a smile on your face.

I was at first startled, confused, and a little angry until I realized why you'd done all that.

You were here for a job interview and I was going to interview you.

You quickly grabbed a chair and handed me all the files I requested the day before meeting you. I sat there in silence, watching as you prepared yourself by smoothing out your clothes and fixing your hair.

"Hello, sir. I'm (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)." You introduced yourself as you put your hand out for me to shake.

I ignored the gesture and immediately began the interview.

I remember how impressed I felt after hearing your answers. You were just like how I imagined my perfect assistant to be.

I made sure not to show this, though, and kept a serious look on my face.

I knew I couldn't just hire you on the spot because I had others to interview even though I had a feeling that they wouldn't be as good as you.

I cleared my throat.
"Well then, I'll call you when I've made my decision." I said, as I handed you back your files and took another sip of my tea.

"Thank you, sir!" You said, as you grabbed all your things.

"I hope to hear something good. Have a great day, bye!" You waved and exited the cafe.

I looked out the window and watched as you got into your car.

"So that's my new assistant now, huh?" I thought to myself.
