The Travel Starts

"Ugh-" the female on the ground groaned as she lifted her tan arm over her eyes, effectively blocking out the bright morning sun.

Branches and rocks dug into her back as she lay their as still as possible. Her above average hearing catching the sound of breaking branches close to her.

"A female." She heard a male voice gasp in surprise. Quickly coming over to kneel next to her.

The male hovered over her probably hesitating on what to do. He placed his arms under her back and legs carrying her off.

Within a couple of minutes Nova could hear the murmurs and whispers of people.

"Harvey is carrying a female."
"What a beautiful female."
"I wonder what clan she is from."
"She looks injured. How dare they!"

And just from a couple of whispers Nova is able to get a rough idea of where she's at. That webtoon she had recently picked up The beauty and the Beasts.

The commotion was cut off as she was brought inside and placed on a layer of pelts and cotton.

"How dare they indeed, to leave such a beautiful female behind. And one who is not even bonded." Harvey's mumbles and uncharacteristic growls warmed the cold heart of the female on the makeshift bed.

Nova decided that now is the best time to 'wake up', the tanned female groaned imitating the way she actually woke up about thirty minutes ago.

Harvey was quick to come to her aid helping her sit up "careful."

"Thank you-" Nova left her sentence open staring with golden eyes hoping the half-beast man understood she was asking for his name. Harvey fumbled with a hand on the back of his head and a pleasant blush on his face.

"Ah my name is Harvey, and your name?" His professional smile appeared trying not to embarrass himself in front of a powerful feeling female.

Nova grinned placing a hand under her chin. "Hmm, Nova and it's a great pleasure to meet you Harvey."

Harvey blushed nodding in return as he excused himself stating that he wanted to grab a specific salve for her injuries, leaving Nova to her thoughts.

'The Beauty and the Beasts hmm? Of all the things I've read this is the one I got placed in. Though I'm not complaining.' She watched as the lithe muscles on Harvey constrict and contrast.

'I always did think QingQing was not the brightest for not taking Harvey. Not only is he good looking he also has medical knowledge. Useful.'

Nova hummed moving to sit on the edge of the elevated bed area, when fully moved she noticed the slight pain on her back. And her state of attire.

She had been sleeping when transported here, so she was left in her silky black night dress and royal purple shawl. Thankfully she was wearing under clothes last night.

"Nova!" The blonde came rushing over his ears pressed against his head in concern. In his arms a basket and a couple of creams.

The woman's dyed white hair cascaded over her shoulders that stiffened in surprise at the shout, sending a hiss of pain out of her plump red lips.

Harvey was quick to apologize as he kneeled in front of her "I didn't mean to frighten you, my apologies. I grabbed some medicine for your back."

Golden eyes softened as Harvey's blonde leopard ears folded in sorrow, it brought her inner alpha spirit out seeing the male so submissive to her.

Reaching a long nailed hand out Nova placed a hand on his head paying special attention to behind the soft appendages. His worried expression melted to a content one as his head naturally leaned on her thigh.

Purring filled the room leaving Nova highly amused "my, Harvey. What a wonderful sound."

The man jumped away with the back of his hand plastered to the front of his red face. The purring didn't stop and in fact got louder as his previously overlooked tail swayed happily.

"What a good kitty." Nova chuckled determining if she should halt her assault to allow him to tend to her back.

Harvey's gorgeous blue eyes glimmered with tears of embarrassment, Nova silently huffed ultimately deciding to allow the man to do his job.

"Harvey." As she called out to him, his whole body tensed in anticipation. "I still need my back treated, sweetie."

She coerced slightly surprising herself with the sweet endearment.

The doctor hurried over with a roll of bandages and cream, his hands and voice shaking as he asked her to remove her clothes.

Nova felt guilty for pushing the man to far so soon, so she complied without saying anything. Her front was covered by the wool blanket he provided on the wooden bed as she pulled her white hair over one shoulder, giving him better view of her back.

Harvey had a hard time calming down but he closed his aqua eyes to give the woman privacy also allowing him time to collect himself.

With Nova's call he took one last calming breath his eyes opened. All the preparation he did flew out the window as her slender tanned shoulders and neck came into view.

His whimper was barely audible as he gulped hard. Harvey shook his head trying to return his professionalism 'remember your training.' His thoughts ran on repeat in his head.

Finally he began to spread the warm cream on her scratched and bruised back, his hands shaking still.

"I apologize if my actions earlier were out of line." Nova's smooth alto voice filled the quiet shack.

"No!" Harvey's voice came out rushed as he finished the bandages loosely tying them off.

The woman's eyes widened as she glanced over her shoulder at him. "You don't have to apologize. I- I enjoyed it, Nova."

His forehead dropped down onto her bare shoulder he breathed in her plum scent. "I- Nova please take me as your male."

Nova secretly grinned as the man asked the request she was trying to get out of him. Harvey's long wavy hair tickled her newly bandaged back.

The white haired woman turned swiftly catching the male in her blanket covered chest. He whimpered into her as Nova's scent became stronger.

"Yes, my sweet kitten."
