It's the middle of night. We're in the 701 dorm. Everyone is asleep except for Jack. He is staring at the ceiling of his bunk. He is thinking.
I wonder, Will I ever find a lover? Jack thinks to himself.
I mean..who wouldn't love this adorable face? He kind of chuckles even though this is all in his head.
I mean I likely won't find anyone...ever since I was little no one wanted to talk to me...well except for legosi. I wonder why everyone stayed clear of me? It's kind of odd. Well either way I should get to bed.
He starts to lay down. He is about to close his eyes when...
Oh shoot...it's tomorrow isn't it?
I forgot...I mean I'm fine..we'll I should get to bed though. He starts to lay back down but like with many brains he wouldn't shut up to let him sleep.
Wait, isn't it run by that deer! Legosi always says he's mean but I haven't met him.. he has to be nice to newcomers right?
You see,recently Jack had been getting bored being alone in the dorm. Everyone else had something to do. He was just there alone. So he decided to join the drama club. Now normally this wouldn't be allowed since he was already too old for recruiting,but due to Riz being..well gone he was allowed entry.
Well partially, he has to get interviewed before he can officially join. Either way he wasn't going to act. He was going to be making dressing and costumes.
Well either way I should be fine. Even if I can't join, I have survived this long so...
He starts to feel his eyes become weights and he gives in to the urge. He finally falls asleep.
....
"Jack!!! Wake up!"
Jack flutters his eyes open. Legosi is there, his head sticking through the bed curtains.
"I just thought you needed to be woken
up since it's already eight." . Legosi says.
"Oh.." Jack grumbles. "Thanks...wait did you say eight?"
"Yeah?"
"Oh shoot!"
He starts panicking. He is racing over to his dresser and he heads to the bathroom and within 6 minutes he's out.
"So what was that all about?" Legosi asks calmly sitting at a desk.
"So...I need to go get a muffin for that interview." Jack says still putting on a sock.
"Oh at least you're having breakfast."
"Oh no it's not for me. I'm bringing it as an offering to make a good impression."
"Oh..well you should still eat jack,you will feel horrible if you don't. And your stomach will growl, feeling anguish."
"Umm? Ok? That's a weird way to depict it though?"
"Oh I just thought I should say..and when is your interview?"
"It's around 11:00. Luckily today's an easy day for classes."
"Yeah thank god."
"Well I will see you later." Jack says this heading out the door.
"Ok! Tell me how it goes!" Legosi says waving.
....
Jack is now at a food stand just outside the cafeteria. There's a long line,but Jack is not worried.
I wonder what types of muffins the interviewer likes? Jack thinks to himself.
I mean everyone loves blueberries right? I think I will get that for him. It probably will work.
Oh? Should I get something for myself? I am a little hungry....but I don't want to waste my money..I will just have a large lunch. Yeah that's it.
Jack forgot about legosi's advice.
Well I will get something to drink though....how about water since it's the cheapest.
The line moves forward. Jack is now at the register. The cashier is a female black lab who Jack has seen multiple times as he is somewhat of a regular.
"Will that be all?" The cashier asks.
"Yes.and thank you."
"Oh no problem...oh and here." She hands him a note. "just...wait till later to read it ok?"
"Umm? Ok" Jack responds confused.
Jack goes and sits at some of the tables far from the stand he opens the note.
"Hey! I just want to say that your really cool and I would love to hang out sometime. You seem really nice so here's my number."
There is a number written in the bottom left.
Jack is taken back by the note. He kind of gasps after reading it. He seems a little flustered. He decides not to go too far into thought about it till later. Currently he had to do a more important thing.
He puts it in his pocket and starts heading towards the drama club.
Hola Children of the corn. That is the end of chapter one...yeah not much else to say...Louis wasn't even in this chapter so I'm sorry but just wait. I don't know when I will post the second chapter but maybe tomorrow I'm not sure. Byeeeeeee
