Izuku's life had been hell sense the moment he turned 4.  It was then that the doctor declared him as quirkless, and it was then that people treated him like he was less than nothing.  Insults and death threats were thrown at him, beaten on a regular basis and no one not even the so called heroes tried to help him.  The one thing the doctor got wrong though was that Izuku did have a quirk, a very powerful one at that.  His quirk could destroy the world as we know it and rewrite to what he wants.  Of course no one even knew about it, except for him.

You see when Izuku had first found out he was quirkless, he was distraught.  His mother of course tried to consul him but the way she did it was not the right way.  All she did was hug him while saying "I'm sorry."  As you can imagine that didn't really help his mental state.  And it was at the age of 9 that the mistake happened.

We see Izuku walking home from school after another beating from his once childhood friend Katsuki Bakugou.  He has his head down so his hair obstructs the view of his face.  The reason for this was cause of the bruises and not wanting his mother to see.  When he got home he realized she wasn't there.  Assuming that she was still at work he quickly put his stuff down and went upstairs.  Once he got into his room, our little protagonist began to cry his heart out.  He was broken, through and through.  What he didn't realize was the particles leaking out of his body and starting to fill the room.  No, they weren't particles, they were spores.

By the time his mother got home they practically filled the whole house.  The boy was still crying, when she arrived and didn't even hear her open the door.

"Izuku, I'm home!"  His mother shouted.  "(Cough cough) What's with all this stuff in the house (cough)?"

Before the mother could question further, due to her breathing in the spores it started to edit her body.  She screamed in pain as the things made her body rip apart and go back together, but into a different form.  When the spores finished their work, she was nothing more then a blob of flesh with tendrils.  Izuku having heard his mothers shrieks finally stopped crying, and that was when he notices the things coming out of him.

"What's this?"  Izuku questioned.  "Wait, if these are coming out of me it means I have a quirk!  But wait, the reason mom screamed might be cause their dangerous!"

Izuku realizing this, ran down to check on his mother.  When down there, he saw the blob and despite it looking nothing like her, he somehow knew it was her.

"No.... m-mom."  Izuku stated in complete sorrow as he went down on his knees and looked at the thing.  "I-It can't be.  No!  I can't lose you!  Your the only one who cared for me, p-please come back."

The boy cried endlessly but it soon turned from sadness to rage.

"It's that doctors fault.  He said I was quirkless, he said that I'd never get a quirk.  That bastard will pay."  Izuku said with venom laced in each word.

It was at that moment the blob started to move and then change.  By the time it was done, it got bigger and more looked like some type of insect (picture at the top.  Also did not make the art).  Izuku looked at the thing as it walked towards him and it started to rub against his leg like a cat.  The child, being too blinded by rage didn't really care and just started to walk to the hospital.  The thing followed him but made sure not to be seen as it had some intelligence.

After around 10 minutes of walking Izuku arrived at the building and just looked up.  For his age he was very intelligent and despite being blinded by anger knew that he couldn't just go in there and kill the guy.  As he was thinking of what to do, he then felt something in his mind.  The thing wasn't that strong but he could feel it, and that was when he realized the abomination that was once his mother was now somehow connected to him.  With this realization he in his mind commanded the thing to find the doctor and get rid of him, by any means necessary.

The thing obeyed and crawled in through a window.  Once inside the monstrosity started to search around for the man and looked in every room.  After a while the thing found the man and quickly attacked him.  It jumped up with its tendrils straight forward and stabbed into him.  The man didn't even have time to react as the creature ripped open his rib cage and hooked the tendrils to his spinal cord.  When that happened, the creature took control of all his motor functions and killed him instantly by releasing more of those spores into his body.  After that happened, the thing burrowed itself into the chest cavity and reconfigured the body into a more grotesque, humanoid being.  With its mission accomplished it quickly went back to Izuku's side.  Of course hiding so no one will notice it

It was that day Izuku found out his quirk and that tragedy happened.  Izuku had later discovered that his mothers body had actually become about 4 of those weird bug things, counting the one now as the other thing.  Of course Izuku thinking about it should have realized sense the thing was pretty small and obviously was made out of the flesh mass of the living thing it infects.  Izuku never decided a name for this quirk, but he decided that he would keep it a secret.  For who knows what would happen if things got out.  To avoid this, he moved out the next day and decided to live in a abandoned, underground hanger he found a while ago when on the run from Bakugou.  And thus starts Izuku Midoriya's new life,  as the leader of the Flood.
