"My head is pounding again," I say groggily and lift my head from my desk, "Yevonne please schedule a meeting with doctor Weebly I need to head over there now."

"Well, ma'am I'm afraid you have an important meeting with Ms. Opelion...she scheduled the meeting weeks ago." I groan and stand walking over to her, "uh- but i-if you're sick we could always reschedule." I touch her shoulder and she blushes from what I hope is nervousness.

I sigh, "don't worry just prepare my painkillers and take the rest of the evening off and tell Whyte that I'll go to Seoul next year, but only if they accompany me." I see her smile and clutch her clipboard.

"Yes ma'am she'll be very delighted to hear this." I leave and walk throughout the building. I watch as employees scatter to look busier. This company brings me such little joy, one slip up and it's all eyes on me. I guess that to catch to being a CEO, especially when business is going so smoothly.

My company t-ECHO is leading in technological advances and engineering. Its steady climb to being in the nation's top one-hundred puts me at risk of scandals and rumors. It's funny to me how as soon as someone acquires success people will stop at nothing to ensure their failure.

Snapping me out of my thoughts someone walks up to me. I look down at them annoyed but soon my face changes, "Lyn, what are you doing here?" I take her hand and guide her to the elevator.

"I haven't seen you in forever and I wanted to say hello, and uh give this to you." She hands me an invitation, "I didn't know your address but I know you work here, it's a friend group reunion." I laugh under my breath and she does the same but nervously. "Anyways how....are you?" She watches and I rub my temples.

I groan softly, "sorry I'm suffering from headaches, to answer your question I'm great." We get off the elevator and she watches me closely, "don't look so worried I've struggled with migraines before, this is nothing, it's nice to see you again-"

"Miss Bonneville!" Yvonne runs over to me in a hurry, "you've forgotten your painkillers, Ma'am." I thank her and take them with the bottle of water she provided, "I'm glad I caught you, oh and please be kind to Ms. Ophelion, Chairman of "Indi-Go" requested that you both get along." I chuckle and excuse her.

"Why was she bringing you medication, is she your work friend?" I look at her puzzled and she awaits an answer.

I shake my head, "she's my executive assistant, she also helps me to keep my health intact." She gapes at me confused and looks me up and down. I look at my suit wondering if I'm wearing an article of my clothing incorrectly.

"Why do you have an executive assistant, isn't that a bit weird, also aren't their pay grade high?"

I laugh nervously, " well...doesn't every CEO or Owner have an executive assistant?" Her mouth slightly opens and she looks at me as if asking "are you serious?". I pull at my necktie and look down at her as she processes.

"Well damn, I would have never thought when everyone said you worked here at a high position they meant CEO."

"And owner." I say with a small smile and she nods, "Uhm here." I hand her my business card, "I have a meeting to attend but I would like to see you again. Call me when you get the time." She looks at the card and smiles at me. I notice her coat, a doctor huh? Unique job choice, I was thinking she'd study law.

"Take care Lenori I'll give you a call soon." She gets in the elevator and I get in my car. That was a pleasant surprise, I haven't seen Lyn in what feels like ages. Back in our high school days, I fell for her, it's nice to know she's doing well.

My phone rings and I pick it up, "hello this is Ms. Bonneville and this is?"

"Lenori you're late, what should I tell Chairman Whyte hm?" I groan loudly and put the phone on speaker as I leave the underground parking lot and start driving to her building, "sounds like you're on your way how about you hurry it up a bit my pizza might become cold."
