And thus, began the frenemy relationship between the two gods. Or should i say somewhat gods.

Error would never admit this, but he's come attached to Nightmares' gang. But at the same time he hates that he's one of the only mature skeletons out of the entire gang. 3v3, unfortunately.

Error was currently in his room Nightmare gave him, watching Undernovella. His room was mostly empty, just consisting of a bed and tv. He was a simplistic skeleton, ok? After years of spending his time in the anti-void, it had come as relaxing and as a home for Error. Now it's really more of a secondary home. His room visually looked like the anti-void, since he painted it white and hug puppets from the ceiling. Old habits die hard.

A knock on the door of his room made Error shifted his gaze for a moment, looking at the door, "The door's open." He looked right back at the tv, not really caring who was coming to bother him.

Turns out, it was Cross, "Hey uh, Boss told me to come get you. We're having a meeting." Error nods absentmindedly and told Cross he would be there in a minute since this episode was almost done. Cross left and Error watched the remaining episode. As soon as it was done he headed down to the meeting area, which just seemed like King Arthurs Round Table but for the supposed villains of the multiverse. He took his seat, which was closest to Nightmare.

"Plan is simple. We go in and cause havoc in Candyland. But if the Star Bitches do come around, here are your partners. Cross and Killer, don't fight." He looked at them, shooting them a small glare, "Horror and Dust. Me and Error. Do we all agree to these partners?" Everyone gave a half-hearted nod and/or yes.
"Good. Mission is at the crack of dawn tomorrow, prepare tonight. You all are dismissed." Everybody left the room except Killer. Killer felt like he was going to get smacked with a tentacle, but he might as well ask.

Killer went up to Nightmare, "Heya boss! M just curious, but why do you always pair up with Error? Somethin' bout him?" Nightmare was silent, giving a glare at Killer. It had no heat behind it, but more of a gentle look. Nightmare only used this look with the members of his gang and nobody else. Although Killer has spotted Nightmare giving a somehow gentler look to Error, causing Killer to double check half the time. This has happened like . . . twelve times.

"Error and I are the strongest ones here, so it would make sense to keep an eye on each other. Although, if he wished, I could always pair him up with someone else. However, he hasn't asked me to pair him with someone different, so i've done nothing."
Killer, happy with his answer, chirped a "Thanks boss!" before teleporting away. Nightmare sighed and slumped in his throne, glad that Killer bought the lie. I mean, don't get him wrong, he loves to lie. But not to his subordinates. The real reason that he always pairs himself up with Error is an entirely different reason.

...He just doesn't want to risk Error getting hurt. Nightmare is full aware of how selfish this was, but if Error dusted, that meant the lost of a best friend. A coworker. A... Nightmare didn't want to think about it any further. Nightmare sighed and gazed absentmindedly at his surroundings, getting up from his seat. Problem was he was so deep in his thoughts he didn't sense the other presence in the room. He turned around, not expecting to come face to face with Error. He jumped, a bit startled and took a step back.
"Sorry, did I scare you?" The glitch smirked. He hadn't expect for Nightmare to get up, and he assumed Nightmare had felt his presence. He took a step back himself, not wanting to get too close.

Nightmare chuckled, "Yeah, I guess. Somehow. You always seem to scare the shit out of me." It's half true. Error does like scaring the negativity guardian, finding it amusing. Like, seriously. Nightmare is the literal embodiment of fear and nightmares, so scaring the living shit out of him got a few chuckles out of Error. It's funny how these two became friends all because Nightmare threatened Error to join his gang.

Error hummed, "You wanna head to Outertale before the mission? Cause I've got a nagging feeling that they're all going to cause chaos." Nightmare nodded, having the same feeling. Well, might as well leave this place to ruins. Error opened a portal to Outertale, Nightmare heading in.

The portal had led to a beautiful view of space, the floating island drifting. This was a jackpot. Nightmare waited for Error to come through, being patient. He went to the edge of the island, sitting down. Error followed suite, doing the same. The stars twinkled in hello at the two's arrival, and Nightmare absentmindedly waved a tentacle back. Error found the small gesture amusing but didn't comment on it. The two sat in respectful silence as they watched the stars gleam, seeing a few shooting stars passing by from time to time.

Error, growing the slightest feeling of boredom, opens a mini portal and a doll comes through, looking unfinished. He quietly started to work on the doll, comfortable in Nightmare's presence. Nightmare glanced over, since he heard the mini portal Error had opened open. He watches in gentle fascination at Error's handy work with the doll. Realizing he's been staring, Nightmare looks away.

"You do know I felt you staring, right."
"I'm fully aware. I did not want to interrupt your work, however, in any way possible."
Error lets out a small laugh, "Please do distract me. I've been putting this doll off for ages, since the skeleton I'm making is not even alive anymore." Nightmare looks over again, as he didn't remember what the doll looked at. If any case, he was looking more at Error than the doll. He almost took in a sharp breath as he saw the clad in purple doll, complete with violet eyelights.

"What's the Sans' name, if you know? Out of generous curiosity." Nightmare asked Error, trying to relax his tense frame.

However, this did not go past Error, "Did you know the guy or something? Your posture is telling a lot. Oh uh, to answer your question, this is possibly the one Sans in the multiverse I don't know the name off. Besides the many other dead ones. I call him Violet, anyways."

He almost let out a sigh of relief at knowing Error doesn't know who it is, "Ah. Alright. And to answer your question, you can say I knew him in a way. I killed him, as well. Pathetic little worm he was."
"Of course you killed him." Responded Error, not surprised at all really, "Seemed like a nice guy anyways. I wouldn't have approached him in any way though, cause you know me." He forced out a laugh, resting the doll in his lap. Nightmare looked sympathetically at Error, knowing the glitch's social anxiety. It took him ages to help Error not to stutter every word he says. Occasionally, and more often with the other members than not, he still stutters.

A gentle silence fell between the two again, as there is no ambience in space. Nightmare feels some form of tiredness seep into his bones a little while later. He sighs as he lays down, looking up at the stars still. Error looks down at the resting figure, pondering to ask if Nightmare was going to nap.

"I'm considering taking a nap. It is quite relaxing here." Nightmare says, feeling Error's uncertainty.
Error cracks a smile, "Is it comfortable though? Pretty sure rock isn't comfortable." His different eyelights travelled to the ground Nightmare was laying on, "There is grass over there, if you want to be more comfortable." He tilted his head in a direction, where a patch of idle grass was. Nightmare quietly murmurs he will stay where he was, and soon enough, the guardian was asleep. Error continued to quietly work, occasionally glancing over at the peaceful looking Nightmare, smiling softly to himself.
