Chapter 3- It's Alive! (A misconstrued line from Dr. Frankestein.)

Well after many days of experimentation, we finally got it. Stein hooked me to the machine that we had been using and he turned it on.

It hurt like hell. I screamed so loud Lord Death could probably hear me at Shibusen. After my initial torture from the machine, it died down and I got up.

"Let me ask this since I never actually got to ask it in the first place—Why me?" I looked at my dad while running a hand through my still extremely short hair.

"Because your wavelength is strong enough to take the harsh experiments on your soul. You have the soul of a witch and a meister. And now a weapon." Stein said lighting a cigarette.

"So I can be my own weapon?"

"Not exactly. You have the power of a weapon so that means for school you may register as a weapon or a meister this year."

"Oh. Alright." I walked upstairs. I can't wait to tell Kid.

The first day of school was upon Death City. I walked in with my sisters, Hikaru, Yuzuke, and Yuuna's weapon named Akihito.

I sat in the classroom while I waited for the other students to arrive. Yuzuke back-stabbed me and chose a different meister. I had to find a weapon, or a meister.

I thought through all the people I could pick. How about Ace? She is a good meister and I want to take a crack at being a weapon. Hmm.

I walked up to Ace and asked her.

"Wait, I thought you were a meister."

"I am."

"Then..."

"Nevermind."

I walked around outside that evening and bumped into a blue haired girl about my age. She looked to be a witch.

"Who are you?"

"My name is Kotone."

"I'm Tsubame."

"I know you are with Shibusen, don't hurt me please." She backed away.

"I'm not going to hurt you. I'm currently looking for a weapon."

"I'm a weapon."

"But you are a witch."

"Yes, but I'm also a weapon. A scythe to be in fact."

"Well can your wavelength match mine?" I asked.

I had found myself a weapon. A Neko cat-witch named Kotone.
