My mind got confused and started to daze. Memories came flooding back of when I was younger and everything was at peace.

The grass was green. The flowers were blooming in patches from spot to spot as if someone from above sprinkled them around carelessly. My mother, father were sitting in a colorful throw made by my mother and me. My brother was showing them tricks, tricks with his wooden sword. I ran over and toppled on top of my mother in a fit of laughter. A strung of pain hit my chest.

I was brought back into reality. Angry at the world. Angry at my brother for taking all the wonderful things away for his own selfish reasons. I screamed at the top of my lungs and swung. Everything turned bright. As if I had just sliced through the burning rays of the sun. I fell to my knees holding my head.

I sat there only for a moment. Wondering what the world was going to look like when I lifted my head up. There were shouts I couldn't quite make out. They sounded from afar. They sounded blurry.

I lifted my head. My father kneeled in front of me asking for my reassurance. He brushed my sun- kissed brown locks from my face and scanned for any injuries. I smiled, knowing I had done what was right.
