Golem is a good kid deep down. He's very empathetic. It pains him so much to hurt others for his benefit. He knows he needs to survive, but the guilt is almost not worth it.
Golem wears his curly black hair into dreadlocks, which he likes to pull up into a ponytail whenever he goes out. His dark skin almost glows in the sun. His face spots a small scar on his right cheek. It's barely noticeable. He got it from his first attempt of hopping a fence, you can imagine the rest. The left side of his nose has a small silver stud piercing. He got it for his fifteenth birthday. His eyes shine a light brown, almost the color of a cream-heavy coffee.
Golem is the main character of the story. He becomes anxious when surrounded by too many people he doesn't know. He doesn't trust very easily and always has his guard up. This becomes a huge problem when he doesn't sleep for many days in a row, too afraid of someone taking advantage of his vulnerable state to steal from him or even murder him.
However, when he does begin to trust someone, he will become unbelievably loyal to them. He will die for anyone he cares about.
Golem is a bi-curious cis man. He is sixteen at the start of the story. He may be older by the end of the story, but I haven't decided yet.

Teen FictionThis is a writing exercise for me to engrave in my brain exactly what I want these characters to be like. It will also be a source for me to come back to if I ever forget something about a character.
