Gabby was in her elementary school classroom when she encountered Kane. They were put in groups based on random selection. This went on for a while until they started talking to each other. It started with a cheery hello and a quiet hello.

Kane - Hello!Gabby! Gabby - hello.

Kane - What's your name? Gabby - Gabriela. Kane - Oh well I'm Kane, you're so nice!hihi.

Gabby - Well no one else thinks that so why should it matter. Kane - Hey, the only reason people think that is because you prove them right; Make sure to prove them wrong. Kane continues - you will see that it works, I know that you are kind; you just need to show it more.

Gabby thinks-' maybe it could work but why should I even bother, they will ask me why I changed suddenly; that's just too awkward to deal with'.

Gabby says whispering the last part - sorry but I don't think it'll work, thank you though.

Kane - I might be talking too much but, Can I be your friend please?, She said showing her adorable pout. Gabby - If you don't think I'm y'know, annoying;I gladly accept. Kane shouts- Yay! Thank you so much!

All in one movement I feel arms around my neck. What is this weird feeling?, I somehow feel brighter in a way.

Kane cheers- You are the best person.

Gabby is still paralyzed from the confusion over what just happened.

Gabby - Hey, what do you call that.
Kane - What? A hug?
Gabby thinks - ' A hug?'

Kane - wow, you look so pretty when you smile.
I didn't realize I was smiling, could it have been from the hug? No matter what it was I try my best to hide my face.
I don't know why but when someone looks at my face for too long I get shy so this was really embarrassing to me.

Suddenly, I hear the teacher come in.
Teacher - Alright kids pay attention, class is starting now.

Things continued this way for around 3 years until the 5th grade came along. That is noted in my brain as: my only way out.
