Hey guys welcome back to a new series!! Let's Start!!
Marinette-(Narrating) College has finally let out for the summer. Now I can spend time with my friends.(Snap out of it when...)
Grandma- Marinette! There's a young ma at the door for you.
Marinette-(Rolls her eyes) Oh please it's just...Luka.
Me-Marinette's grandma comes around the corner, her hand to her chest, imitating a strong southern accent.
Grandma-I was beginning to worry you would die an old maid...But now...A gentlemen caller at last!
Marinette-Grandma! Goes to the living room and opens the door)
Luka - (Standing in front of the door) Hey, Marinette.
Marinette-Hi! You bought flowers?
Luka -Am I not allowed to bring you flowers?
Marinette-I guess not. It's just...You've never done it before.
Luka-Well...Maybe I should bring you flowers more often.
Marinette-You don't have to! We only own, like, one vase. Where would I put them all?
Grandma-(Enters the room laughing) Don't get your panties in a twist. The flowers are for me.(Plucks the flowers from 's hand and smells them)
Luka -Actually, those were for-
Marinette-How long have we known each other? At least fifteen years? You should know by now...grandma does what she wants. There's no stopping her.
Me-Luka and Marinette go to the park and walk along the path, discussing the trip Marinette's leaving on that week
Marinette-Can you imagine? A whole beach house and it's all ours!
Luka-Well,technically it's Marc's beach house. And he's not going to let any of us forget it.
Marinette-I don't care as long as I get to spend a month at the beach!
Luka-What is the first thing you're going to do when we get there?
Marinette-Hmm...Play in the waves! What's the point of going to the ocean if we're not going to get into the ocean.
Luka-Can't argue with that logic. Just watch out for the jellyfish.
Marinette-(Wondering) You know...I've never seen the ocean before.
Luka-What?! Never?!
Marinette-It's kind of far away...And my grandma doesn't really like the ocean.
Luka-Have you told her about the trip yet?
Marinette-(Bites her lip and shakes her head)
Luka-Wait, are you serious? We leave Friday!
Marinette-I know! I just don't think she's going to take the news very well.
Luka-Because she doesn't want you being away for the summer?
Marinette-It's not that...it's just kind of hard to talk about.
Luka-Marinette...You know you can tell me anything right?
Marinette-You know my parents died when I was young and my grandma raised me, right?
Luka-Yeah...
Marinette-Well...My parents died at sea, in a boating accident.
Luka-Oh, Marinette...
Marinette-My grandma avoided the ocean ever since. When she hears I planned on spending my summer by the ocean...I'm worried she's going to feel like it's a betrayel.
