Chapter 19

Third-person POV

"Hi bitch, how are you?" Lee Ji Eun greeted him with a grin on her face. The Investigator left so that the two adults can have a private talk

"speaking of the devil," Jiyong said while getting up from his swivel chair "Welcome my friend how are you?" He said while he hugs his long-time no see childhood friend, Lee Ji Eun aka IU.

"I know you miss me dumb bitch, So are you hiring an amazing scientist?" Yes, Lee Ji Eun is a part-time scientist, even though it's her part-time job. She still amazes other scientists with her abilities.

Jiyong releases the hug with a smile on his face, it's a great day indeed. Seeing his Partner in crime brings his smile but when He sees his daughter with one video game character even makes his day more, hoping that this day will be forever.

"even if we're not finding now, You're still welcome to be here, Let me show you our lab, come on," Jiyong said as he open his door.

Meanwhile in the apartment...

Mina's POV

I'm so... What is the word again? B-board? Oh- Yes board! Is that right? Never mind.

I want to see Y/n, I'm here alone in an apartment. Maybe I can visit her at the school? Maybe she's hungry? But she said I can't get out in the door and just stay here.

I kept thinking and thinking while walking around in the apartment. Fine! I'm not going out in the door.

I'm still kinda embarrassed that I washed the dishes on the washing machine, I'm just trying to help. I wish I could learn a different kind of stuff, I'm just going to ask  Y/n later on how to cook. I want her to chill for just 1 week and I'll do all the house chores for her.

I  plopped my back on the soft mattress of Y/n's bed, my mind was clouded with thoughts

"How did I get here?"

"Who did this to me?"

"Am I also a human?"

"How can I cook for Y/n?"

While thinking about my unanswered question of mine my mind is slowly getting tired and suddenly my paired eyes are closed, didn't realize that I am having a nap.

-at the school-

Third-Person Pov

Nayeon and Lisa's group is now competing with the other group, they are using their main heroes

Nayeon for Jeongyeon

Lisa for Jennie

Momo for Dahyun

Sana for Tzuyu

And last, Jisoo for Park "Rosé" Chaeyoung

the people noticed on the big screen that they are starting to lose all of their buildings, The two banged girls and Sana is on their base defending their last and Important building, while Nayeon and Jisoo are trying to plan their next move since their enemy is scattered everywhere, they can easily get killed.

Nayeon goes to the top lane hiding in one of the bushes while Jisoo is trying to distract the enemies, Jisoo's presence on the map was seen by the two enemies, and the two runs after Jisoo and the two enemies turn into five, Jisoo goes to the bottom lane trying to spend time with her enemies.

While the enemies are too busy trying to kill Jisoo's character, nayeon is having her strategy on the top lane she's destroying all of the buildings, the enemies only noticed this when jisoo's character died, they retreated to their base but it was too late their building is destroyed.

Nayeon, Lisa, Momo, Jisoo, and Sana jumped in their gaming chairs because of happiness. It's a great comeback indeed! The other team groans but still congratulate their opponent's team.

Both teams shake their hands for the great game, Nayeon and Lisa's team is going to the final round which is more difficult for them to win but for them reaching this moment is enough but it doesn't mean they don't want to win the first place.

The winning team goes backstage for a break, and Y/n smack their heads for a congratulation gift. the girls didn't mind it because this moment is surreal for them, they are talking about how hard that round is since the boys have a great strategy over them.

The conversation went on and on but Y/n saw something, she shrugged it off and she started to listen to the girl's gameplay. While on the other hand, two girls are watching Y/n secretly and attentively they didn't know that Y/n is pretty in flesh. They hid one of the boxes when Y/n almost caught them watching her.

"Are you sure she's the one?" The other girl whispered to her partner.

"Yes, I'm sure she's Y/n. Let's talk to her later when she's alone, Don't scare her got it?" She answered in a whispered way while glaring at her partner who raised her hands in defeat.

"Dude chill, I know that we need her so don't be so judgemental, I'm the one who should tell you that," she said while glaring at her, the other girl rolled her eyes and proceed to eye the girl.

"We don't have time to argue about this, Let's go somewhere that no one can see and hear us, let's go" the girl whispered still eyeing Y/n in front of them. The two slowly moved to find their new hiding spot.

Two hours have passed, and the final tournament has started, They started to pick their hero, as usual, it was the same lineup as last time but with different strategies, a better one.

While Y/n is in the backstage watching her friend's game, the two strangers finally got their cue to grab her. The two confidentially but fastly grab her, the taller covered Y/n's mouth but not her nose so that she has enough air to breathe. while the smaller one dragged Y/n carefully to the corner where there is no one can see them.

The two released their grips while Y/n is still panting looking at the two who dragged her, The two looked at each other worriedly thinking that they should drag her in a calming way since they dragged her like only a sack of rice.

Y/n was about to shout to ask for help but she froze when she saw the two familiar faces, the two video game characters waved at Y/n.

"Uhm... Hi?" Jeongyeon waved again in a coy way. Jennie rolled her eyes when she saw Y/n get more nervous and scared because of Jeongyeon.

"W-why are you guys here!?"
