The date was November 23rd, 2021. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today at Future Tone High School. It was currently lunchtime and Carmen Meadows (Mr.Music Rin) was waiting on her boyfriend Syd Mims (Smiling #23) to come to the cafeteria. Her twin brother Harmon (Mr.Music Len) was there with her.
Mr.Music Len: Where is he?
Carmen shrugged.
Mr.Music Rin: He'll show up.
Mr.Music Len: Oh, there he is!
He pointed at the entrance to the cafeteria. There was Syd. He went in line to get his lunch. One of the lunch ladies saw him.
Lunch Lady: There's the birthday boy! Or...one of them anyway.
Smiling #23: That's me.
The lunch lady gave him a slice of birthday cake.
Lunch Lady: Enjoy.
Smiling #23: Thank you.
Syd saw Carmen and Harmon and sat down with them. They saw the piece of cake.
Mr.Music Rin: I'm jealous.
Smiling #23: Well, get jealous. Today is my birthday, not yours.
Mr.Music Rin: Yeah.
Mr.Music Len: How old are you going to be, Syd?
Smiling #23: Sweet 16.
Mr.Music Len: Carmen and I are 17. And we're seniors here.
Smiling #23: When is your birthday?
Mr.Music Rin: We have to wait until February 22nd. And then we'll both be 18.
Smiling #23: Oh. Cool.
Mr.Music Len: Yes, it is.
And so, the 3 kids ate lunch together.
