Chapter 31: Boy with luv

It was early in the morning while eating their breakfast, "Darling may meeting kasi ako later at hindi ko kaagad matapos yung paper works ko baka later ma late ako sa pag uwi." He informed her. Irene was kinda dissapointed by what he have said.

Today is the 1st anniversary of their relationship and they were supposed to spend time together but then Greggy has many appointment making her suddenly feel sad that he seemed to forgot the special day.

"Matagal ba talaga meeting nyo? how about the paper hindi ba pwedeng tapusin nalang bukas?" She asked with the sadness on her voice. "Hmm... hindi ko pwedeng ipagpa bukas yun and by tomorrow I have to finish everything para naman sa mga upcoming site visit ko for building project hindi ako ma tambakan ng maraming papers." He said. "Siguro by 7 o'clock in the evening makakauwi narin ako." He tried to console her but it didn't help to ease her feeling of sadness. She slowly nods "Sige sabi mo eh." She speaks with an lethargic voice.

Now Greggy is ready to leave for the office but upon noticing he saw her sitting at the couch scrolling through her phone and not giving him any attention. "Darling I have to go now." He sighed and sat down in front of her "Irene? is there something wrong?" He asked and she looked up on him and shake her head "Wala naman, sige na umalis kana." She uttered. He did not believe her so he stay for awhile.

"Greggy umalis kana baka ma late kapa sa meeting." He leaned closed to kiss her lips but then she slightly moved away, so he just kissed her hand rather. "I love you Celestina." He uttered but it looks like she didn't hear anything.

"I love you Celestina." He speaks again a bit louder. "Oo na sige na umalis kana." She responsed so he just stood up and leave even it makes him feel sad for not hearing a sweet response from her.

Buddy noticed that he looks  distracted at the meeting. Greggy seemed not focused and did not understand what was his business partners was talking about.

After the meeting Buddy approaches him.."Gregorio are you okay? you seemed distracted sa meeting kanina." Buddy asked him.  "Ah wala naman okay lang naman ako." He replied. "Gregorio ilang taon na tayong magkaibigan wag kana mag sinungaling diyan." Buddy knew anything about him so there is no chance that he can lie.

He sighed heavily "Si Irene kasi eh nagtatampo." He confessed.

"Oo nga no, aba'y napansin ko hindi nga nakapag message sayo or tumawag ano nanaman ba ginawa mo?" He asked.

"Nothing. I just told her na gagabihin ako sa pag uwi kasi i have more paper works, yun lang naman eh." He replied.

"Gregorio hindi ba anniversarry nyo ngayon? eto yung araw na naging kayo." Buddy told him.

His eyes widened "Hijo de puta! I forgot." He throw his tobacco on the trash bin, he finally got it why Irene was not in a mood when he leaves her.

He immidiately asked his friends to help him. "Haranahin mo pero yung pang millennial  ang dating." Fernando said.

"Tutulungan nyo ba ako sa surprise?"

"O sige 10 of us will help sasayaw tayo" Perry said.

"My daughter was addicted to all K Pop so subukan natin yun, ano ba tawag dun yung mga gwapong koreano na sumasayaw?" Jaime asked.

But since they were very old school they didn't even have an idea about the new trend so they end up searching through google a song that they can groove with.

And now Greggy planned that he will make a fake scenario to let Irene went into his office for a surprise, the office workers even help for decorating the office and now everything was ready and all of the rose petals was on the floor with alot of balloons and a big teddy bear.

"Is now everything ready?." He asked. "Yes po sir okay na po lahat." One of his staff answered.

Now he had to call Irene to come over "Buddy call Irene sabihin mo hinimatay ako."  He uttered.

She was wearing a clothes after she took a shower when Buddy calls her.
"Hello Irene? aba si Buddy ito hinimatay si Gregorio sa opisina aba kailangan ka ata dito eh." He uttered.

She doesn't want to react that much because she doesn't want to affect the baby "Teka papunta na ako, kayo na muna bahala sa kanya and please rest him into the comfortable place." She calmly responsed.

She finally arrived and she immediately went into her office and when she open the door she was shookt.

Her eyes widened and didn't move for a while. She blushed seeing Greggy looking at her while dancing showing off his charm.

"Surprise darling!" he approaches her with a bouquet of flowers and a giant color peach  teddy bear. "Ooy ano ba yan grabi ka naman Greggy naka ilang surprise kana." She blushed.

"Ay ang cute naman ng teddy bear salamat ha at sa effort nyong lahat." She followed.
He smiled at her "That is not teddy bear, call it Greggy bear." He said. 

"Happy anniversary darling." He uttered. "Happy anniversary Greggy." She replied.

"I love you Celestina." He professed.

"I love you too Gregorio."

He kissed her forehead and embraced her.

They were both happy and he was thanful to have her and for having a supportive friends to help him anytime.
