{I feel the earth move under my feet. I feel the sky tumblin' down. I feel my heart start to trembling. Whenever she is around.}

Inside of an apartment in New York city, it's almost midnight, the lights are turned off and the only thing heard is the noise of the busy streets. The sound of the key that opens the door breaks the peace and Ryan Brown enters his house.

He didn't open the light and walked towards the mini bar. He took a glass in his hand and a bottle of whiskey on the other and walked towards the sofa. As he turned around someone opened the light from the hall and he heard footsteps coming towards him.
He felt scared but he couldn't move.

"Good evening Ryan." he froze from the familiar voice. "Long time no see, right?" She finally appeared and sat down next to him. As comfortable as they used to be. Like she was just paying a visit for a drink.

"Sylvie? Is that you? It can't be...you...you are dead."
He felt cold sweat running down his forehead.

"Let me inform you that I am alive and feeling better than ever before." She answered as she was taking off her jacket and throwing it to an armchair close to hee. "You are not happy your friend is well?"
"Yes! I mean, of course. But they said you were burnt."
"I escaped from the back door. I spent a lot of time thinking...about what happened back then."

"What do you mean back then? What happened?" The same feeling from the day Rachel investigated him was coming back. He couldn't breathe but the brown haired woman next to him looked totally calm. He was talking with a ghost! No, Sylvie is a human. How did he got so naive? He really believed that Sylvie would disappear from his life so easy.

She didn't reply immediately to his question. She looked  straight into his eyes like she was waiting for him to confess. Her eyes landed on his right leg that was shaking, clearly saying that he was nervous.
"Someone betrayed me." She finally spoke and he felt his blood freezing. "There is no other explanation."
In order to avoid her cold stare he got up and started walking again towards the bar, pretending he wanted to offer her a drink. In reality he wanted to grab the gun that was hidden there.

"Betray? Who would have the guts to betray you?" He searched with his hand but to his disappointment the gun was missing.
"I guess someone was desperate, right?"
He realised Sylvie was moving. In a glass he barely saw Sylvie's reflection placing the missing gun on the coffee table.
He knew he was fucked up.

He thought he may manage to escape. Maybe Sylvie wasn't there to kill him and she just took the gun because she was scared he might killed her because out of his fear.
"Maybe, but what are you going to do...you will forgive them or..." she couldn't be that bad. "What are you going to do?" While he turned around he felt the cold silver blade of her knife entering his body. "This." She whispered while turning the knife slowly causing him to bleed even more as a breathless sound of pain escaped his lips. "I think, I wasn't clear when I said: If you betray me you are dead. The kind of people that I despise the most are betrayers. I can't deny it, it was really brave of you to do something like that. And stupid at the same time." she let his body fall on the floor and she stayed there for a minute watching as his blood was watering the carpet. What stopped her from the satisfying, for her watching, moment was her cellphone that was ringing. She took it out of her pocket and saw Bella's number.
"Move your hell fine ass. We don't have all night. The cops will be here any minute soon."
"I'm coming."
She grabbed her jacket and left the apartment closing the door behind her.

The next morning, a class of young students who were dreaming to become officers had taken their seats while their teacher was speaking.
"Good morning everyone and welcome. I'm really happy that I'm going to teach you how to become officers and pass your exams. I hope y'all know how difficult this job can be. But justice is our highest payment."
