"Where's Susie?" Noelle asked Kris, looking around.

They shrugged.

"I hope she's okay. She's been gone a while.."

"Maybe she's looking around your house for chalk," Kris signed jokingly.

Berdly stared at them and Noelle chuckled at the thought.

Noelle had invited Susie, Kris and Berdly over to her house to just hang out and study. Around 10 minutes ago, though, Susie had gotten up while saying "I'll be right back," and didn't explain what she was going to do.

"Or maybe she just really needed to use the restroom but got lost somehow, knowing how she tends to handle puzzles and direction," Berdly spoke.

"I'm sure if she needed to use my bathroom she would've asked where it wa-"

Noelle was interrupted by the sound of her door slamming open. Everyone turned their heads to see who it was.

"I just ate glue!"

"You just ate what!?"

Standing at the doorway was a surprised looking Susie.

"Glue, Noelle. I ate glue!" she exclaimed.

"Why would you eat glue?!" Berdly spoke up.

"It looked tasty and I thought 'oh well this should taste good,' and it didn't! It tasted like nothing! And the texture was awful."

"And welcome back to Susie's inedible food reviews. Today's food is: Glue," Kris signed, snickering.

"Anyways, what did I miss while I was gone?"

"Kris called Uno," Berdly grumbled.

"Fucker," the purple girl replied, taking her seat between Noelle and Kris.

Kris smiled smugly.

The next few minutes were quiet as they focused on their game once again. Noelle had managed to make Kris add four cards to their hand. Finally, Berdly broke the silence.

"Uno reverse!" he exclaimed, slamming down an uno reverse card.

"Dang it!" Noelle whispered. She didn't have any blue cards left.

With a sigh, she ended up pulling five cards from the deck, though it felt like more. She looked over at Susie, who seemed to have added eight cards to her hand. Noelle giggled.

"What are you laughing at, huh?" Susie growled.

"Oh! N-nothing!" Noelle stuttered.

"Hmm," the purple girl turned her attention back to her cards.

The reindeer sighed, and too, turned her attention back to her cards.

Suddenly, Kris clapped their hands. Everyone looked up.

"Uno," they signed.

"I can't believe how homophobic you're being, Kris," Susie said to them, baring her teeth.

"What," Berdly spoke up.

Susie sat up and stared at Berdly questioningly. Kris began to laugh.

"You have something to say to that?"

"What do you mean by 'homophobic?'" Berdly leaned closer, "They're pan, how does that make sense?"

Kris continued to laugh, finding this quite humorous. Noelle simply tilted her head to the side.

"Berdly, oh my god," Kris signed, snickering.

"What?!" the bird exclaimed, looking around wildly.

"Berdly, I'm gay. I don't know how you didn't notice, because I have the damn flag sewed onto my jacket," Susie said, pointing to the flag that was, in fact, sewed onto her jacket, "for the one of us wearing glasses, you can't see for shit."

"I-" Berdly stuttered, "Oh my god," he finally said, putting his face in his hands.

Kris's laughter died down and their attention went back to their one card. They smiled evilly.

"So, you like women?" Noelle spoke, immediately covering her mouth. Her nose glowed brightly.

"Yeah, didn't ya hear me? Well, technically anyone who isn't a guy, I guess. Don't tell me you didn't know, too," Susie replied.

"Oh no! I totally knew!! I, uh, like non-guys, too! That's so cool, we like the same things," Noelle stammered, fidgeting with her hands.

"That's cool, I guess."

"Uh, yeah."

They sat in silence. Noelle's nose only seemed to glow brighter, painting the area in front of her red. That included Susie. Huh, Susie actually looked good in red lighting.

"That's cool," Susie repeated, breaking the silence, "we both like non-men."

"Yeah, haha."

"Yeah."

"Yeah.."

They continued to stare at each other. Berdly coughed.

"So, uh, your both gay," he said, not impressed.

"Yeah," said Noelle.

"Yeah," said Susie.

"That's cool." the bird turned his attention back to his cards.

More silence.

"So, do you.. wanna be gay... together?" Noelle asked the purple girl.

"Are you asking if you wanna date me?"

"Yes." Noelle answered.

"Well, in that case, yeah, sure, whatever. Not like I've had a crush on you since you gave me that candy cane pencil that didn't taste like candy cane," Susie replied.

"You what-"

Berdly interrupted her by clearing his throat.

"This is sweet and all but Kris just won the game," he said.

Susie whipped her head to glare at sweater wearing menace. They held no cards in their hands, clearly showing they had won the game. They had a smug look on their face.

"GOD DAMMIT!!"

They laughed.

Fun Fact: This is my first time writing actual fanfiction. Everything else I've written has either been a crackfic or a chatfic. But, anyways. Hope whoever read this enjoyed it. I have no idea what I'm doing.
