Once.

Twice.

Three times in a row.

Stop.

Help.

No.

It's time, finally. Dawn breaks so you shall too. Wake up from this nightmare, quick!

"Are you fine, my dear?" The soothing voice calmed my soul. It refreshed me from inside out, despite not having a wink of sleep last night. I opened my eyes, it was dark out and what I saw next were the eyes I fell in love with.

Azure swirled with hyacinths, the sea with the sunset, the night with the stars. It was nothing but everything and that's what led me here. To them.

I nodded; a simple gesture of my head to let them know I was there and fine. Shifting wasn't quite likeable when out of control. I stood up, watching those curious eyes follow my steps. My lover's subtle crimson dress, their hair- the whole attire were that of a wedding's.

Forgive me, my little bird. I used my hands in a frantic way. However could I have forgotten? I was too lost. A euphonious laugh rung in my ears, as I saw their idyllic silhouette through the veil. "It is no trouble. It wasn't yours to hold up anyway."

They held my hand preciously and guided me outside once I had dressed up more fashionably for the matter, unlike half-naked I would have been in my silk clothes.

I could sense the euphoria they felt, as of a child. As the petrichor of the post-rain evening filtered through my nose, I understood what my pluviophilic lover had intended to do. I tugged at their dress.

I, will, get, sick. I slowed it down, as a slight hint so they would halt dragging me behind. "It doesn't matter! It's your gift, I'll play for you. Your share of love would have to double though, nothing is free of cost now, is it?"

I shook my head and smiled, why had I decided to love this one?

(To clear it up, the lover is deaf)
